My Timeline

Me, Myself, and I: First and foremost I am a Christian who has discovered that the whole purpose of life is to build a relationship with God and enter into His family. It's awesome! It's crazy but true, but don't take my word for it. Check it out.
Academically, I am finishing up graduate school at the University of Iowa. I am currently finishing up my dissertation on Lucan's epic poem, Bellum Civile. It's in Classical Latin, written in the mid 60's AD (during the reign of Nero). It's crazy too! Check it out.
Residentially, I live in Iowa City while at college, but call St. Louis my true home. Go Cardinals!
Music: All manner of Christian music: 4HIM, Glad (old school), MercyMe, MWS, downhere. Also movie scores, especially those of John Williams, James Horner, and James Newton Howard.
Literature: Homer's Iliad, Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and Silmarillion, Harry Potter series
Sports: All St. Louis teams (Cardinals most of all!)
Teddy Bears: Snuffles by Gund. Bar none the best teddy bears ever. I still have like 7 of them. I'm not ashamed. :-)
