Quick's borthday is on Valentine's day and I have had no money to get him anything. What should I do? I tried making him a painting, but I couldn't finish it in time. I'm at a loss. Can anybody think of anything?

Everybody in my house is sick. I took Quick to the doctor today. It turns out we all have sinus infections. It's terrible. You start off with a sore throat that feels like strep. I'm pretty much better now, except for the itchy, runny nose. But Quick was feverish. I haven't seen any symptoms in my mom, but she says she's sick too. Don't worry, we will feel better soon.

My mom is so crazy. Lately she's been turning on the gas stove in an effort to make sure it's turned off. We don't notice it until we smell gas in the house. I've been telling her to stop but she won't listen...she thinks she has to inspect everything, even though she's blind. I don't know what to do....
