Alone in thought I often wander if you’re there,
Looking down on me reflecting as I twissle my hair.
Near ten years has passed but I still miss you so
You were so eager to see me succeed but it was your time to go.
Every decision I make I wander what you would say
You’re still in my thoughts almost every single day.
The day you left us I shall never forget
So many things I hope you know, people I wish you could have met.
As events happen I try to imagine what you think
I wish you had not gone
I wish you were here today- my heart does sink.
I see you often in my dreams and it feels so real
Your soft touch like in our hugs I wish I could again feel.
I hold on to the idea I might see you when my life comes to the end
One wish is I hope you’re proud, as always as I look back and remember my entire love I do send.

I don’t believe that, if you want something in life it’s down to you.
How do you know that there is only the one?
Thinking we have it another passes by but we’re pre-occupied and he has gone.
Life is full of decisions of what is wrong and right
Everything we do affects our future, our destiny, our plight.
Time is precious we must make use of any opportunity
Waiting and looking for someone will be a waste and on you don’t take pity.
Whatever is intended is what shall be
I might be single, have a family, or just marry
But whatever is to happen it is me who holds the key.
