- I live in good old Kingsbridge with my tatooed cherub rachel and the fittest bird in kingsbridge-Frankie!!! I am growing old disgracefully. I have an adopted daughter, by the name of leanne smith, came in one raining night and joined the family! Always happy when house full of strange people blagging my booze - makes me feel wanted. Can't work out how to grow old gracefully yet so can sometimes be found in Fusion on a Saturday night dancing with wicked boys. Rude not to. Love escaping to Bournemouth to see me old mate Aunty T (the other pisshead in the pic). Known each other since we were 10 - have no secrets. No morals. No money. Perfect basis for a lifelong adventure.

Life
Feeling very down in the mouth just now. It's my old mate Dave's funeral tomorrow and its bringing everything back about losing my Les and my heart goes out to Shirley and the boys and the girls coz its such a shit thing to have to deal with. We know inside that we have to remember the good times and keep all our good stuff in our hearts but sometimes it just fucking hurts more than you can say. You go through sad, then angry coz they've selfishly left you, then panic stricken coz you're on your own. Then you find youre not really coz the strangest of people, the ones you never expected, come and give you a hug, drag you out for a drink, or just ring you up and make you laugh. Nobody really knows how to deal with this thing called bereavement as we all think differently about things and it catches us all in different ways. Most of you out there are young and have all your lives in front of you so treat it as a kick up the arse to get on with life, do daft things just for shits and giggles and also take five minutes once in a while to give a sad person a hug. Both Les and Dave were social animals, nobody left their homes sober if they could help it, they raised loads of money for charities and were good friends (plus they had gorgeous wives and fab children). Rest in peace Dave - who's going to take the piss out of me now every time Spurs lose?1 Comment 324 weeks

Been spending outlandish amounts of money on Ebay on civilised clothes for my new job. Well, rude not to really. My exsisting wardrobe of comfy drinking shirts and dodgy t shirts doesnt really fit the bill so I've gone for suits and stuff. Fair Week are holding a couple of silly events on Friday 1st and 8th December - on the 1st I am doing a Christmas Crazy Quiz on the Quay at 7.30. It wont be as long as the summer one coz its too bloody cold but should be a laugh. Prizes for the winning teams and best Xmas fancy dress so come on all you peeps - Aunty Katy needs you. There's a Three-Legged Race on the 8th - Matthew and Nicola are organising it (they do the summer one) and its sign-in at the Crabshell from 7 pm onwards and will finish up at the Creeks. We know how competitive you all are when it comes to drinking sensibly so please come along. Any monies made will go towards the summer fireworks which cost thousands so we need all the pennies we can muster.0 Comments 347 weeks
