WCOOP Razz and Online tournament success...
WCOOP Razz went down pretty much as planned until we got deep in.... had built up my stack with some solid, uncomplicated Razz, which it was clear from early on that this was the best way to progress through the minefield of players 4-betting open face cards etc... Sitting on a little over 12k the following hand went down. I completed showing (23)6 and got a call from a guy showing (xx)J. To cut a long story short, on 6th i had a made 6-low with (23)6A74 and our villain was showing (xx)J54J, playing at best a J-low and possibly drawing to the wheel. Anyways, he 4-bet his Jack-low (Just the ugliest of plays given my board, and on 7th i played it safe, check-calling him and mucking when he turned over his miracle 3-outer A giving him the wheel. The pot was worth around 18k, and left me with less than 3k. I got the rest in on 3rd street with A23 (The razz equivalent of Pkt As) and got 2 callers. I never improved beyond a 9-low and that was that. Sick end to an otherwise flawless tournament. Just goes to show, sometimes play the best you can is all you can do. Such is the nature of the game....
Last weekend was very pleasing for me, scooping 2 top-3 finishes in 400+ runner mtts on Full Tilt for a 4-figure total cash and some serious PLB leaderboard points. Tonight, as every monday its live game time, with the £50 Freezeout at Rileys being where i'm heading. These have been very good for me lately with 4 wins in the last 7 outings and 2 chops. I'll post an update on the latest goings on in the next fortnight or so.

The week so far...
Had a good week so far, bagged 2nd in the 15k Guarenteed on full tilt and followed it up with another second in a smaller one tonight. Throw in a few sng wins and a shit load of Razz heads up take downs and we're looking at a very big week. Nice. Least thats the wedding paid for.... almost!

Gonna focus on nothing but Razz mtts this week coming in prep. for the WCOOP Razz $100k on friday night. After the back to back wins in big field Razz mtts a couple of weeks ago i gotta fancy my chances of taking down a big score here, the field will be the largest Razz field i've ever faced but the vast majority of players will be in the mediocre to crap bracket, so if i can chip up ealry trying to get em off me will be harder than pulling teeth!
