- Me, Myself, and I
- ok so we are coming to the end of the third series, and the question, what the hell is going on is still lingering in our minds, but i bet that one of the very first theories there was is coming back into your minds, is it all real..? are they really alive? or are they stuck in porgatory,
lately i have been trying to come to terms with it a litlle, but, i keep going back to that same theory, that they are dead, when the black smoke comes to them, it judge's them and when it returns it comes to to take them to their heaven or their hell...? now i could be completely wrong here, only time and more watching can tell.
please do write up on the boards what you think is going to happen...

lost
Have you ever sat next to someone at a bar and felt as if your paths have crossed before, has the thought ever crossed your mind that the stranger behind you at the store could soon become a significant part of your life, In 1929 a hungarian writer put forth the idea that any one of us could name any person among the earth's billions of inhabitants, and through at most 5 acquaintance's connect that person back to themselves.he called this the theory of sintrality (spelling) today it is more commonly known as six degrees of seperation. look at pictures of seemingly random people, do you know any of them.? do any of them know you.? do any of them know someone that you know.?, odds are the answer to at least one of these questions is yes, perhaps they crossed paths with you or a loved one, at home, at work, on a trip. throughout the world connections are constantly being made, which begs the question, are chance encounters a matter or coincidence or a matter of faith. open your eyes and look around you, mathematically in a world of billions is the thoery plausable, and if so is it possible that seemingly random connections have significance, are these meetings mere chance, or could there be a larger picture that has yet to come into focus. the only thing we can be sure of is that in the beginning it all starts with one person.

Jonathan Sheridan1/17/07There is a lot of talk that "There will be a big reminder this season that on the island, it’s still November of 2004 and only three months have passed, which will help lead to “a major shakeup coming soon.” Do you realize that the tsunami and earthquake happened in DECEMBER 2004!!!!Could this be the major shake up? Then again "The shakeup" could be referring to Walt. He was 10 when the plane crashed, but the actor was really 12. Now, he is almost (or is) 15. The "shakeup" could refer to the fact that time off of the island goes by quite faster than time on the island.

Jonathan Sheridan12/29/06In the end, we will learn that what the Oceanic crash survivors have been experiencing is just the latest in a long cycle of groups being lured to, and subsequently being stranded on, the island. This dates all the way back to the time of the statue having been originally sculpted. Over the rest of the time of the current series, each of the Oceanic crash survivors will take up a role vacated by an "Other" or other person. For example, Jack and Sawyer may end up leading separate factions, and Jack could eventually become the leader of the "good guy" faction (currently Ben) and Sawyer could become the person who trains capturees in one of the stations (like Radzinsky.) Over time, we will learn what is special about the island, why new "victims" from the outside world are needed, and how people on the island are able to influence goings-on off the island. In the last scene of the show, the viewers will witness the crash of a new vessel--perhaps another plane, or a cruise liner
