    • Grizzly Day

      Well, the elusive grizzly that Roy and I had been trying to get a peak at the past few days was destroyed last night. I know it is for the safety of the community but it is a sad day! I saw the magnificant creature this morning. Roy estimates it to be about 3-4 years old and 400lbs-500lbs. A really beautiful animal. Not a great way to start the day anyway.:(

      Alexander and I fly to YK today where we will spend two nights on our way to Saskatoon! I am very excited to be going home to see my family! I will keep everyone posted and I will put up some new pics when we get back.

      Hi there Things are not too bad. I am looking forward for the Building trades program with the Status of women in yk for 12 weeks The program will commence on sept 2, 20 women were selected for the program; i am one of the applicant selected. I was thinking, once i complete the program see what happens from there; I want to complete grade 12. Currently, i am unemployed since my term was up and looking forward for the program keep in touch Lisa Marie

Ever since I stopped working, i thought to myself i have to be doing something couldn't stand the thought of doing nothing.       Hi there City Woman, So how have you been doing, Hope you are enjoying the last days of WINTER, I know Iam but the only thing I want from this Winter before it melts is CARIBOU..... Wanna make Drymeat to bring to YK when Iam shipped out a month early..... Can't wait though, but the PAIN, will I guess it will be worth it, besides it's only for that day it will hurt right?
