About Me

Me, Myself, and I
Youth Focus is a youth club for anyone with access to our hall in Scotch Quater, Carrickfergus on Friday nights!
Music
We sing a little from favourite christian songs during the club
Talks
A short Bible verse is usually considered at the close of the night
Sports
Each week plenty of football, badminton, basketball, tabletennis and sometimes a combination of all of the above at once (!) go on
Outings
From ice skating to barbecues there's always something fun to do at our regular outings!
We believe:
That as sinners we could not be in God's company, and because He loved us He gave his Son to be sacrificed on earth to pay for our sin. By His power He raised His Son to life again and we can enjoy the privilege of God's company, care, direction in our lives and wait for His return to earth to take us home :)

    • Beginning of missionary based activities!

      Ok so we have decided to become more involved in missionary work, this is because the church that we meet in supports and reports the work of missionaries all over the world.

      If any of you would like to be independently involved in this kind of work please visit www.opendoors.org for monthly updates on work worldwide.

      I had an idea that perhaps we as a group could write an email to a persecuted christian, Youth Groups and churches everywhere are writing encouraging emails that are actually sent to people who need a lift and need to know that people are thinking about them and praying for them.

      Perhaps you won't know what to say to them but with our help i think it should be a worthwhile project.

    • Opening of the Bebo Account!

      Ok guys! this is a general account that i made because we're not really a band... and we'd all need to go to the same school or university to make a group.

      This is where i'll be pitching ideas to you all and by your responses see if certain activities will go on. Questions and Suggestions are always welcome!

      Emails to the homepage will be considered by hannah and myself and any complaints about the site will be sent to me. Sorry we're all classed as female...:L
