- Destructive Davey and the Destroyers were formed in Strabane Grammar school 2003 by David Alexander to convey his unique vocal and artistic talents the band has since went from strength to strength with many fans throughout the province.
The original Destructive Davey and the Destroyers were:
David Alexander - lead vocals
Ryan Mc Cauley - synth
Dean Curry - guitar
David "THE" Canning - bass and backing vocals
Andy Lynch - keyboards and backing vocals
Adam Rogers - Drums
In late August 2006 following a freak farming accident David Alexander passed away the remaining members decided to carry on making music with Dave Canning taking over as lead singer this page is in memory of David and therefore will have some of the early tracks but will also have the new tracks from the current band.
In June Adam Rogers 07 quit as drummer to deal with cocaine addiction he was subsequently replaced by Jonny Patterson
There's some new material in the pipeline now, we just need the nessecary recording equipment.

I feel i really contributed by spreading the word of davey's death 2 the masses, i mean, the outpouring of grief, it astonishes me! I respect Davey cos he was an innovator! R.I.P Davey, your destructive spirit lives on in all our hearts!

my only memory of him is everyday he walked on the roof of school.. duno how he did it though, but hes the only one that can do it...
i thought Davey was dead....R.I.P. Davey!lol
