woo hoo!! we did it again! we took rock quest out again and it ended up finishing the same way, us, S.K.U.X and Foetal Position taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd places respectively. Sweet! All 3 bands are up for semi-final selection 2 so good luck to the other 2. PEACE!

Ok guys so we got fucked over by media on c4, that was ok we took that, media are thumb-sucking pricks and everyone knows that... Then we play at our own school and we get shut down.... that pissed us off.... Then they shut down our guy fawkes gig at school saying that we couldnt have any other bands play, just us. Rathkeale has become far too controlling and need to realise that we are part of the Masterton community too. We cant keep beating around our secrecy bush and hide our shit away from the school!! You know there are serious problems when a college that says and I quote the following:

1. " . . . artistic flair is harnessed . . . "
2. "Rathkeale College - Where boys achieve!"
3. "The College delivers academic, spiritual, cultural, sports and personal development programmes and strives for excellence in all aspects of these."

Quite frankly the hypocrisy about the place is demonstrative of the lack of support and fundamental 'giving a fuck' that we actually need here. We have so much support from pupils and parents here, the reason we are able to function as a band and produce music is because there is so much support from you guys who no doubt will be the only ones that will read this. We are a rock band, we are not racially offensive in our music. We don't apply any obvious political messages that are easy to grasp, they are all very underlying. Why? Because that's how we like it and it's what works for us. So when we are told we can not play ar must follow this rule or this rule it is not because there's a reason for it, its because its something new, something different. So to all of you out there who enjoy our music, thank you. To those of you that don't thats cool we're not asking you to. But for those of you that just want to make it hard for us becuase you think you have the authority then quite frankly grow up get off your high horse and learn some decency.
