1:Me,Justin,Gary and lousie all missing the bus to oxegen,so i had to get the bus driver to stop and wait for them outside tesco,and me having to tell the bus driver "they'll be here in one minute"...ten minutes later there still not there.
2:When we arrive at oxegen,brian and me stopping every 5 minutes on the stupidly long walk into to oxegen to have a beer break,we had at least 5 cans before we made it in through gates.
3:When we set up our camp across from the massive x-box live screen thinking it was great cause we could watch the screen and drink at the same time...we didnt realise the screen doesnt stop playing music till 4 in the morning.
4:The birth of the saying that will forever live on in all the minds of everyone who sat around our camp drinking..."Chug the Beer"...the rule was if some said chug the beer,everyone had to chug their beer,simple but effective
5:When we went to go to the headphone disco,only to have it called off cause about 500 people showed up to get in,then when we heard it was called off the crowd started a mini mosh pit pushing and shoving everyone.
6:Stefan drunk off his face on the first night....shouting at craig "LEAVY,LEAVY COME HERE,dont tell joe i was drinking"...or the unforgetable..."hahahah i just fell down....ouch!"
7:When the 2nd group of our camp arrived on friday and saw that our camp was the only camp to have been set up in a place that just muck and not a blade of grass in sight.
8:Going to see the saw docters in the green room,still one of the best bands iv ever seen play.
9:When me and marion feel asleep in the pit when interpol wer playing,they wer shit.
10:When i ended up in the First Aid tent on saturday with an I.V. drip stuck in my arm cause id been vomiting all morning...i dont care what anyone says about my illness being drink related,it was that fucking dodgey burger i bought at 5 in the morning...admitlty not the best time to be buying burgers.
11:When Myself and Marion went to see the Verve and r.e.m. playing,they wer both brilliant,when the verve sang bitter sweet symphony the crowd went mad...but for some strange reason the lead singer of r.e.m. sang a song with his back to the crowd.
12:When the lead singer of the verve was talking about the poor people of zimbabwe,but then suddenly started giving out about ronaldo wanting a new contract of 120,000 a week.
13:Showing up at the prodigy just as they started singing fire starter.
14:When we all came to the conclusion the the fratelli's have to be the most over ratde band in music history...they wer so flat,they didnt even sing chelsea dagger right.
15:Watching the Kasier Chiefs,have to be one of the best live bands ever,there lead singer is a legend...he jumped into the crowd as soon as he came out,then he jumped off stage and ran around the pit,then he started climbing up the stage till he was singing at about 30 feet in the air.
16:Myself and Stef jumping into the mosh pit during the kasier cheifs,and stef getting knocked on his ass by a guy half his size.
17:Watching the Chemical Brothers,those lads know how to put on a good disco.
18:Watching Rage Against the Machine singing killing in the name of...iv never seen so many goths and emo's going ballistic in one place at the same time.
19:When the clare and tipperay fans started fighting when they wer watching the match on the big screen...then the gaurds came and sorted it out,but when the gaurds went to drive away,the fans started throwing chairs,bottles and anything else they could find at them.
20:Going to the x-box live disco till half 3 in the morning and having a who can jump over the barrier with stef and justin and all three of us bouncing off the ground as we attempted it.
21.When i went behind a tent to use it as a toilet,i see this flash of pink coming towards me and it floors me...who was it only edel after flooring me with a shoulder.
22:Coming back from the disco to see that craig had destroyed everyone of our tents in our camp.

This is a tribute to the nice guys. The nice guys that finish last, that never become more than friends, that endure hours of whining and bitching about what assholes guys are, while disproving the very point. This is dedicated to those guys who always provide a shoulder to lean on but restrain themselves to tentative hugs, those guys who hold open doors and give reassuring pats on the back and sit patiently outside the changing room at department stores. This is in honor of the guys that obligingly reiterate how cute/beautiful/smart/funny/sexy their female friends are at the appropriate moment, because they know most girls need that litany of support. This is in honor of the guys with open minds, with laid-back attitudes, with honest concern. This is in honor of the guys who respect a girl’s every facet, from her privacy to her theology to her clothing style.
This is for the guys who escort their drunk, bewildered female friends back from parties and never take advantage once they’re at her door, for the guys who accompany girls to bars as buffers against the rest of the creepy male population, for the guys who know a girl is fishing for compliments but give them out anyway, for the guys who always play by the rules in a game where the rules favor cheaters, for the guys who are accredited as boyfriend material but somehow don’t end up being boyfriends, for all the nice guys who are overlooked, underestimated, and unappreciated, for all the nice guys who are manipulated, misled, and unjustly abandoned, this is for you.
This is for that time she left 40 urgent messages on your cell phone, and when you called her back, she spent three hours painstakingly dissecting two sentences her boyfriend said to her over dinner. And even though you thought her boyfriend was a chump and a jerk, you assured her that it was all ok and she shouldn’t worry about it. This is for that time she interrupted the best killing spree you’d ever orchestrated in GTA3 to rant about a rumor that romantically linked her and the guy she thinks is the most repulsive person in the world. And even though you thought it was immature and you had nothing against the guy, you paused the game for two hours and helped her concoct a counter-rumor to spread around the floor. This is also for that time she didn’t have a date, so after numerous vows that there was nothing “serious” between the two of you, she dragged you to a party where you knew nobody, the beer was awful, and she flirted shamelessly with you, justifying each fit of reckless teasing by announcing to everyone: “oh, but we’re just friends!” And even though you were invited purely as a symbolic warm body for her ego, you went anyways. Because you’re nice like that.
The nice guys don’t often get credit where credit is due. And perhaps more disturbing, the nice guys don’t seem to get laid as often as they should. And I wish I could logically explain this trend, but I can’t. From what I have observed on campus and what I have learned from talking to friends at other schools and in the workplace, the only conclusion I can form is that many girls are just illogical, manipulative bitches. Many of them claim they just want to date a nice guy, but when presented with such a specimen, they say irrational, confusing things such as “oh, he’s too nice to date” or “he would be a good boyfriend but he’s not for me” or “he already puts up with so much from me, I couldn’t possibly ask him out!” or the most frustrating of all: “no, it would ruin our friendship.” Yet, they continue to lament the lack of datable men in the world, and they expect their too-nice-to-date male friends to sympathize and apologize for the men that are jerks. Sorry, guys, girls like that are beyond my ability to fathom. I can’t figure out why the connection breaks down between what they say (I want a nice guy!) and what they do (I’m going to sleep with this complete ass now!). But one thing
