- If you were to ask me about my life a year ago, I would of said music IS my life. Nowadays, I'm just not sure anymore. It seems like music hasn't been around as much. My old bands are getting well... old and there are just so few new bands that worth my time. I dunno what my life is right now. I better find something soon to replace music though...

Lake House
I don't usually blog about movies because I have yet to find one lately that's worth blogging. But that was until I saw The Lake House...
This is bar none, the best movie of 2006, probably the best in a few years. The acting is great, the plot is original and imaginative. I'm not usually a massive Keanu Reeves fan, but he was awesome in this. I expected Sandra Bullock to be good, and she was amazing. This is a romance movie at its best. So sad, but in the end leaves you completely satisfied. I recomend this to anyone who likes a good... no... anyone.0 Comments 354 weeks

Make it where?
My friends are always asking me if I want to make something of my life or go somewhere with my life. And I always reply with the same response: "Make what out of my life? Go where with my life?". Why do we always put pressure on ourselves to be "successful". What defines successful anyways? College or university then a high paying job? If this was the case and everyone 'made something' of their life, life would be miserable. You wouldn't go to restaurants because there would be no line cooks or dishwashers. There would be no gas station attendants so we'd pump our own gas. Why can't we just be happy with ourselves no matter where we are? If I stay a linecook and end up dying tomorrow, I'll be completely satisfied with what I did with my life. And isn't that what really ounts for something? So next time someone asks you if you wanna make something of your life, tell them that unless they want to pump their own gas and flip their own burgers, to shut the fuck up.1 Comment 356 weeks
