  • A Prayer for Our Children and the Children of the Future

The butterfly is universally seen as a symbol of transformation and the soul’s messenger.

A Prayer for Our Children and the Children of the Future

May you be powerfully loving and lovingly powerful
May you always have love be your guide with your family and friends and colleagues
Remember to listen carefully to your own heart and the heart of others
May you have the courage to always follow your dreams
Take an action every day to support your life dream, your love nature and your integrity
May you have the strength to overcome fear and pride
and instead follow what has heart and meaning for you
May you be guardians of truth, beauty, creativity, and laughter
May you protect, preserve and care for Mother Nature and the wilderness
May you show respect to all people of all ages and all races
and help all living things keep their dignity
May you help make a better world for the poor, the sick, the elderly and other children
Be an active, committed and positive force in your community
May you value and maintain your health and the health and wellbeing of others
May you respect all the ways human beings access their own spirituality
May you create a global community committed to peace and non-violence
May you keep learning, asking questions, exploring, discovering
and always maintaining curiosity and hope
May you honour and respect diversity and the beauty and magic that occurs
when difference is joined to create something far greater than one could imagine
May you constantly bring your gifts and talents forward everyday,
    without hesitation or reservation
May you honour your ancestors and all those who have gone before you
for they have paved the way for you to do what you are here to do
May butterflies remind you of your soul’s beauty and the exquisite contribution
that your presence makes in the world everyday

  • Imagine ...

    Imagine our whanau....

    - Where everyone values the legacies left by our tupuna – Te Reo Maori, our stories, our practices, our waiata, our taonga and the places that are significant to our Whanau
    - Where everyone knows who they are and where they come from
    - Where we celebrate our unique identity and our distinct place in Aotearoa
    - Where everyone works together to create new futures, to design the future
    - Where everyone shows honour and respect
    - Where we show up and choose to be present
    - Where everyone understands and is aware of the causes and effects of actions taken or not taken - responsibility and discipline
    - Where we pay attention to what has heart and meaning
    - Where everyone understands the power of love as the most potent healing force available, extends the arms of love through acknowledgement, acceptance, recognition, validation and gratitude
    - Where we acknowledge each other’s skills, each other’s character qualities, each other’s appearance, and the impact we make on each other
    - Where we tell the truth, without blame or judgement – the capacity to say what is so
    - Where we know and communicate our creative purpose and life dream,
we act from our authentic self, we are truthful and we honour the four ways of seeing (intuition, perception, insight and vision) Where everyone accepts that our work is to come fully forward with our gifts, talents and resources, and to meet our tests and challenges
    - Where as teachers, we are open to outcome, not attached to outcome
    - Where trust is the container out of which wisdom grows
    - Where people do what they say they will do, they walk their talk
    - Where listening is valued as much as speaking
    - Where no matter how deep the issue is, no matter how much we have struggled with it, the possibility exists for us to become absolutely free, whole, complete.
    - Where we are capable of getting to the root of our issues, resolving them, letting them go, freeing ourselves to live a life we love, as a full expression of who we really are.
    - Where everyone recognises that within our whanau there is awesome unlimited potential
    - Where we find our voice, saying what we mean and doing what we say such that we take responsibility for creating a life, a future that we own and build - with some unconditional love and support
    - Where everyone is free to grow into the magnificent elders we were meant to become
    - Where everyone leaves at the end of their life knowing that they have contributed and made a difference

Imagine it is like this EVERYWHERE...

  • Te Wero

This is a time in your life where you have the opportunity to contribute from your unique gifts and talents to make a difference in our world. Your gifts, wisdom, experience and compassion are vital for the future of our society.

Someone is waiting for you to make a difference in their life. You are the mentors and the elders that the world is waiting for. Your wisdom is important to be shared.

The ultimate task…is to create, generate, and serve meaningfully so that our lives can become our message. What is your message? What is your legacy to future generations?

You are at the place of perfect choice where you have the freedom to design your world from inside out; from that place inside you that makes your heart sing.

What is important to our whanau? We want to live our life with passion and purpose, we want to deepen our relationships, we want to contribute back. Living with passion and purpose – we want to know that we make a difference and spend our time in ways that make our heart sing.

The total wellbeing of our Whanau going forward rests on YOUR choices TODAY
