Plus Forty Four
- Born In London, Raised In LA
- Me, Myself, and I
- (+44), pronounced "Plus Forty Four", is a band consisting of Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker of Blink-182, Shane Gallagher of The Nervous Return and Craig Fairbaugh of The Mercy Killers. The group got it's name from the international dialing code to the UK, because Mark and Travis first discussed doing the project in London.
Mark Hoppus: Bass/Lead Vocals
Travis Barker: Drums/Keyboard
Shane Gallagher: Guitar
Craig Fairbaugh: Guitar/Backing Vocals
Hope you all like the album. Make sure you buy it, support the band!
Please note: This is NOT an official band page. We are just fans of the band and thought it'd be cool to have a page for them on Bebo.

A couple of months ago, I got a call from a friend of mine named Richard Gibbs. Richard scores films, and he invited me into his studio to collaborate on a song for a movie he was working on called "Fired Up." We spent the next week working on an idea that he had, and built it into a song that's now available on iTunes. Check it out. It's got kind of 60's beach party feel to it.
The song is featured in the flash box part of the page and you can buy it on iTunes: http://tinyurl.com/atxauj

Have you made an official decision on what the future of (+44) will be?
I don't consider it done. We'll never say never with anything. As soon as you say, "I'm not gonna do that anymore," you find yourself in a situation where you wanna do that. Shane [Gallagher] and Craig [Fairbaugh] are awesome guitarists and great fun to play in a band with, so we definitely won't say that the band is done. But obviously, for the foreseeable future, all of our energy is going into Blink-182. This isn't a temporary thing. We aren't even calling it a reunion. It's more of a continuation. When I hear a band are doing a reunion, it just sounds fake to me, and that's not how we are with this. Everybody's putting 100 percent of their effort into continuing what we've always done. It's not like we're just gonna do a tour and then call it for a while and then do another tour and then call it for a while. We're just continuing Blink-182 as we always have.

Yet another sad blog entry..
As you will all know by now, Travis was involved in a plane crash. He and DJ AM were critically injured after their Learjet 60 crashed during takeoff from South Carolina's Columbia Metropolitan Airport, just before midnight on Friday. The plane was headed for Van Nuys, CA. Travis and DJ AM were running around and stripping down to extinguish themselves after the crash.
Barker was transported by ground to the burn facility from the site of the crash and DJ AM was airlifted.
The deceased have been identified as pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills, CA co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, CA, Chris Baker, 29 (Travis' personal assistant, you'll remember him if you watched "Meet The Barkers"), of Studio City, CA, and Charles Still, 25 of Los Angeles, CA.
RIP to those that died, and here's hoping the two that survived make a good recovery.
Update: Travis has burns on his torso and lower body, and AM has burns on a portion of his head and arm, but neither sustained any other injuries from the crash.
Both are currently in "critical but stable" condition.
The burns the two suffered were classified as second- and third-degree burns.
