I love and follow god, study Civil Engineering at Strathclyde Uni and enjoy many a game of football and xbox. I claim to be a comedian by stealing others jokes and enjoy a pint of beer. I'm a failed art lover, art of any type...mostly musical art, of many different genres, I love when word + music express an emotion and/or picture. I hope one day to produce something on that level. I love to play bass and acoustic guitars and sing, to open my mind and learn/explore, I'm studying in Prague next year for that very reason! I love the complexity of so many things and spend many on hour pondering about life, a (failed) philosopher at heart! eg

Civil Engineering: What that mean?
I study Civil Engineering and a surprisingly large number of people do not know what it is. I thought i would help those people by sharing how I describe it, mostly to drunk people who really dont care but are making small talk. The convo goes:
Person A: "So wat you studyin?"
Me: "Civil Engineering, U?"
Person A: "Awww brilliant kool, yeh" *looks away*
Me: "Do you know wat civil engineering is?"
Person A: "erm kinda...."
Me: "It's like the study of how things stand up, house etc.
Person A: "orite, like building bridges n aw that?"
Me: "erm, well kinda, its more the design and maths etc."
Person A: "oh, building kool"
Me: "well yeh, though its kinda quite hard"
Person A: *stops listening*
OR as i told my good friend craig:
"Its basically a course full of underachieving men"
Anyway, Its going very good atm Its good banter which a alot of top lads!! Also some very kool ladies and a realy good atmosphere me thinks. Im doing well though we shall see after exams.... As we have questionss about Stoopid "Sir Joseph Bazalgette". His a legend but questions about him sux cos there is only one book in the library on the man

Exams were alright, could have been better though! Yeh got the email. Not a clue what to do for the dissertation but not gona worry bout that right now!
Banter still as good as ever with the lads (mostly at daves expense! lol). Big daves even managed to get himself a girlfriend! Unfortunately marius is now finished at strathclyde, hes headin back to norway for fourth year. Other than that tho the rest of the lads should still be around. Assuming we all pass exams that is! Glad you're having a good time over ther and hope all goes well with exams. Need a catch up when you get back. XXXXX
