- Dierks was born on November 20, 1975. He grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. He now lives in Nashville with his wife, Cassidy, and his dog, Jake. His influeneces are George Jones, George Strait, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Ricky Skaggs, Hank Williams Jr., Frank Sinatra, and Del McCoury. His first CD was one he made independantly called Don't Leave Me in Love. He is the youngest member of the Grand Ole Opry, which he became a member of on October 1st, 2005.
