Japan isn't going to work out, the rotary called me a few days ago. They have dropped my exchange to Japan, now, I have to decide between two options.
1. Wait two weeks for the 10% chance of going to Japan to either happen or not, and if it doesn't, go to Thialand instead.
2. Sign up to go to Taiwan and learn Chinese and if an opening in Japan comes up in the next two weeks, switch over to Japan.

I really don't know what to do! When I found out about all this, I was totally bawling because I have worked soo hard to go to Japan, and then to have it switched on me like two months before I am supposed to leave, that is crazy! Oh well. I can't seem to decide between the two options. But I have to call Dan Christanson at 8am tomorrow with my decision. Goodness, this is hard. Right now I am leaning a little more to the option of Taiwan, but if I decide that, they won't try as hard to find me a place in Japan. But if I choose to wait, it could not work out even with Thialand, and I would have to miss out on the whole exchange. Arg. This is maddening! Oh well, there is only so much I can do. Let me know what you think, even if it is already past 8am tomorrow...there is always hope for change. Love all ya guys!

I am scared! The declamation contest, a language recitation thing, for state is coming up! My Japanese poems are funny, but I don't have the best pronuncation! Oh well, I can alway try my best! In regionals I got second, but there were only three of us in that category!! Hehehe, and the first place winner is a native Japanese speaker, so I don't feel too badly! Now to see if I can beat her at state!!! Wish me luck!
