- My minds a melon, sliced diced, juiced and jammed…..the sweet sticky stuff that is. Silence is peculiar in its ability to sneak up on one unexpectedly, absorbing and comforting thoughts of an equally peculiar nature. Everyone’s gone crazy….in-fact it’s just me but they’re the odd ones out. I’ve become a colour……an off shade of STUPA (it should be a colour anyway). I’m never in just one mind-frame, what is a mind-FRAME anyways, like you could actually fit it behind glass and hang it up somewhere to remind you of WHAT exactly every so often. All I know is, and to quote a friend, “the here the now’s our time” to be, become, taste, inhale, feel, free, want, take, give, question, answer and absorb ALL or NOTHING!

The little old lady
To the left of the crooked bench she sits, patiently watching the younger beings that pass her by unnoticed. She looks on intently, her eyes grow small in appreciation of just the slightest recognition that she expresses with the sweetness of her smile directed at the lips that smile back. Hands folded and legs crossed faintly, pay tribute to a once gracious posture and pride in the beauty that still seeps through the faintest of gesture. Her eyes are still young but the folds of her skin each tell their own story. One of youth and the remembrance of young love, another of loss and tears of a lifetime forgotten, and yet another of each precious day she clings to with the fondness of a fading memory. Delicate and fragile she waits for more than what is said. But darkness overshadows the mind of this simple, contented exterior. She has forgotten her name, she has lost her way and no one is coming to get her. And so everyday as time passes by unnoticed by her, she sits, she smiles and she will continue to wait. More than a little
I fell over myself just the other day, victory is bliss. Bullshit really does baffle dames.....but after a moment of silence in respect to an unforgettable moment, I now have forgotten, taken that sip of water and breath of fresh air and am ready to start jogging again. Loss = accomplishment in the positive or negative, emotions = fragility but strength not cowardess.
I am I am ready once again for the infestation of thoughts, reckless banter and conscious peculiarity. I touched the dark side of the moon in all its splendour, encountered the depths of frost-bite and came back in love with its unfinished uneven platform of nothingness.
