The band had 2 former bass players before settling with Johnny Christ.
Ex-bassists are: Daemon Ash and Justin Sane.

DVD/CD release date pushed back!
“On September 16th, Avenged Sevenfold will release a DVD/CD package, called “Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough.” The live DVD features the band’s April 10th hometown show at the Long Beach Arena headlining the Rockstar Taste of Chaos tour, while the CD contains previously unreleased b-sides that were recorded during the making of Avenged Sevenfold, plus various covers, and other never-before-heard material. The DVD was directed by Core Entertainment’s Rafa Alcantara, who also worked on the band’s critically acclaimed 2007 road documentary All Excess.

New live CD/DVD
According to Big Cheese magazine, the new live DVD/CD will be released through Warner Bros. Records on the 4th of August. It is a live show shot on the Taste of Chaos tour in Long Beach. The cd will contain b-sides from the new album.
