Hey.. We're a group from shetland, who play wide range of different music, mostly traditional shetland, folk, scottish and old-time swingy tunes..plus the occasional jazzy number
The band consists of: 2 fiddles (Laura an Maggie), piano (Astryd) and we sometimes have different people who play guitar for us (usally brian nicholson if we cn get him! we also had gud crack playin we stewart shearer in ireland). We love to travel and have played all over, including Ireland, Norway, Canada, America and Australia

Musselburgh
Just come back from the Musselburgh competitions! It was great, Laura was there too so we were all together again!!
Maggie did really well, we all had a really good time, and it was great to see everyone again. Can't wait til next year!!

hey girls, got a copy of your new cd the other day to send to my mum in Aus for christmas...it's excellent, especially loved the 3rd song...can't remember what it was called, but i know it was a shetland tune.
