In the big city for a few days, visiting immigration yet again and looking for a car. James wants 4x4, diesel, hopefully Toyota.
My friend Reed´s Dad died last week, he and his wife had to fly to the US to deal with the funeral etc, so I´m now the new construction supervisor for their house build, youch!!
How is your wonderful summer going? Hear you have been diving Euan?

Puerto Lindo - Sunday 15th July
Hi guys, Just wanted to say Hi. Hotmail is down, so our trip to 'civilisation', ie the slowest internet connection in the world, has not been terribly productive.
We got to see the land briefly last Sunday - it looked great, and Jim especially enjoyed driving the Lada in over the tree stumps and through the first river. I didn't let him try the second one, way too scary. We collected a sack of Mangoes, decided more or less where the first cabina will go - and even managed to get out in the car before it got dark. Just as well as we had no lights(!)
We've had to order a boat part from the US, but we should be able to collect it Wednesday when we next go to Panama City - we need to get it modified here somewhere, but hopefully if that is successful we can drive Charmer out of the marina under her own steam next weekend,. Jim was dreading taking the prop off in the water, but it went ok. We're hopefully getting rid of the awful noise when the boat is in gear with a new cutlass bearing.
How are the holidays? What are y'all up to??

Jim got washed away by the river, long arms saved him this time. Thankfully he didn´t try to get the car over as well. I´m working for a French run sail loft until the end of the month. Hope to be in the big city next week for Thanksgiving so will try to write.

got something about mum and photos last i think, it was confusing and annoying as the bat still says things like i go to fast, some people are just not computer literate.
