    Hello,
so after my little eurotrip spent 3 weeks on the beatiful almost german island mallorca. there nothing exciting happened. it were just usual summer holidays. but when i came back to hamburg i was preparing myself for my trip the United States of America. actually there was not much to prepare. the only problem was, that in the week i flew to boston in london have been this bomb stuff. so the security checks on the airports were crazy. in the end I did it, but it wasn't much fun to be 3 hours before the depature on the airport and still having delay because of the security checks.

Finally I arrived in Boston on 13th of August. The school itself had a beatiful building, but the rooms and especially the bathrooms were unlovely.
i mean disgusting. Although i had a really good time. it wasn't to find some new friends. i met people from allover the world (spain, italy, bratislava, south america, japan, holland and even from denmark).

at the moment i am staying LA and it's pretty hot so i gotta go to the pool...

    to be continued...

  • Here I am

    Hey,
this is the first time i write my blog. during the last 2 months i've seen a lot, met a lot of new people and had a lot of fun. i hope it will going on like that or even better.

So at the end of june finished my highschool and got finally my abitur.
a few days after my graduation i went on an eurotrip with my four best friends. we bought an interrail (train ticket for whole europe) ticket and started our trip in amsterdam. amsterdam was pretty funny, but with hindsight it was not the best place to start. more or less all of us spend the half of our "travelmoney" for beer, food and this green stuff to smoke.
whatever, after amsterdam we took the train to paris (of course we bought a reserve of this green stuff for our whole journey). paris was nice as it always is, especially because we have seen the match brazil vs france, which france won. this night the whole city was partying allover paris.
some days later we had enough of big cities and decided to go to acachons.
nobody of us had heard of this place before, we only went there, because our travelguide recommended it. to make it short, don't trust travel-guides. we stayed there on a campingplace without having a tent. the big attraction in acachons is that they have the biggest sand dune in europe (110 m). It's true! It's really big, but that means u have to walk over this dune to get to beach. probably somebody likes hiking on a sand dune.
i don't. Indeed, this wasn't the biggest problem. Everything seemed okay until it started to raining, lighting and rumbling at 3 am. Probably u can imagine that without having a tent it sucks pretty hard. so we had to move to the bathrooms, which are not the cleanest on a campingplace...

The morning after we left immediatley and decided to go back to our planned route. the next stop was biaritz. biaritz was great, it has huge beautiful beach and is full of surfers. during the summer the waves are not that hard so we also tried to surf what was much fun.

from biaritz we went to san sebastian, which was for me the best place during the whole trip. san sebastian is also at the atlantic coast directly on the seaside. it got two bays and three hills around them. the bays are not too big, so u can surf as well. it's a small city with 100 000 citiziens. it has a beatiful old town with hundreds of bars. the night clubs are placed at beach. it's not unusal that someone stands with surfboard in front of u in the line at mcdonalds. whatever i celebrated my 20th birthday there and it was awesome. but i don't wanna bother u with details.

God knows why, but from san sebastian we took the train to pamplona. the night before we had no hotel and slept rough on one of the hills.
it was nice, but everybody was a little tired when we arrived in pamplona.
the arrival in pamplona was a shok. the whole city was all over with drunk white dressed people sleeping on the street, benches or a meadow.
of course we knew that there was the bull race festival "San Fermin", but we hadn't expected that. so we left our luggage immediately at the luggage deposit and got drunk. it was the only way to suffer this smelling ugly city. we didn't sleep the night and watched the bull race to the arena. two of my friends did the race, but i decided to take the pictures after a securirty told us that someone was almost killed the weekend before.

Directly after the bull fight we left pamplona and everyone was happy to go to a "normal" city. but before we were in a "normal" city we had an horrible 8 hour trip to barcelona. barcelona was great...
but now enough for the first time... congratulations to everyone who red till here... hope to hear from u soon
