Hello Everyone
I am changing my teaching because:

1) I have been told that I must teach the book and don't have enough time to do many songs and games like before.

2) I know many students don't like standing-up, they are embarassed and don't want to talk in class, don't ask questions, don't want to debate/discuss etc. So I am trying to make it easier for you.

3) Many people have complained that my classes were too childish, we didn't study the book enough. I asked the other teachers for advice and they told me I should change my class.

I am happy to do anything in class. If somebody has a suggestion or idea I will be happy to try it, I want to help the students, I came here to help you and learn about China.

Every Class
We will spend 1 lesson on 1 unit, because I have now been told that I must teach book 1 and 2 (I originally thought we would only do book 1).
We will also have 2 people each class do a speech (any topic they choose).
Sometimes we will play games/sing songs.

##I made the first classes easy so that everyone could participate and get used to speaking English with each other, from next week we will be doing debates so the level of English will be set by you. I know that you know many words and can read very difficult English books but I think that many of you still find basic communication difficult). Please continue to tell me if the classes are too easy or too difficult. Also please remember in daily conversation people tend to use simple words and don't often need difficult words or complex English. I prefer talking to people who use basic/easy English.

#I use easy games so that we can use English easily. Please tell me if you have any ideas to make the games more difficult/interesting/useful. There are many of you and just one of me so I am sure that you can come -up with much more interesting ideas than me. Please share your ideas and let's improve the classes.
