I had a nice talk with your Dad and Velma this afternoon... I'm glad everything seems fine over there! I understand its a bit cold and damp over there huh? Hi Claire! Just a quick message... Uncle Rod is quite ill, so I've been really spending alot of time with him (and taking care of him) for the past week and a half. I've basically taken over all the things he used to do, and I've been taking him to therapy too. So we're both quite busy everyday. But I'll let you, Uncle Al, and Uncle Brian know if anything changes... CLAIRE!! Thanks for your well-wishes! WHEW-- it was a very busy time at the end of December, but all has gone quite well..Thanks-Again! I hope all is well overseas, and that the rest of the family is doing OK. Did you have a nice holiday season too? I just took it easy this year-- I didn't really go out or anything, just stayed home... Did you hear about Auntie Audrey? She sounds like she's making a quick recovery though.. She definitely needs to be careful now. Well, we just finished celebrating Dad's BIRTHDAY, and I just got out of the hospital on the same day (that's another story).. ALL THE BEST IN THE NEW YEAR! Hey Claire! Everything is alright this end too!... Except, I left Facebook and packed it in. I had a run-in with one of my "friends"... Not only that, but I find Facebook UNBELIEVABLY Lame! LOL... Really though, Facebook is really trite and boring-- Or as you Brits say, it's a load of "bollocks"! Haha.. Uncle Rod just had an operation on his neck to remove a cancerous tumor.. But we didn't know it was cancerous at the time! He has quite a nasty gash across his neck; But he is in very good spirits, and seems to be making a fast recovery. He already booked his trip to England/Wales for next year too! So everything is going smoothly-- he seemed in quite good spirits even after the operation.. So there we go. I hope everything is going fine for you and the family-- Do you get together with Uncle Al? I guess you do... Hi Claire! How goes it? Things are coming along alot better now... Thanks for your email messages! Did you see the pics I sent? WOO! What a goddamned mess!-- haha. Though, I wasn't laughing at the time, I was hoping the back of Uncle Rod's house wasn't going to cave-in. I had to organize all the insurance stuff with the adjusters and what have you for the time that Dad was away. Luckily Dad wasn't at home at the time, and luckily I wasn't in the kitchen! That huge branch cut through the roof like a hot knife through butter. So, I've been busy with that the past couple of weeks (helping clean up the mess in and around the house). Are you on Facebook or anything like that? I use to be on MySpace, but there was SO MANY nutcases messaging me all over the world, that I just got pissed-off and left.
