  • Your life matters

    Hey Guys,

You might notice that my new skin reads, "What on earth am I here for?" I did not put it as my skin because I don't know why I'm here, I put it on here to see if you know why you're here. I'll tell you what our purpose in life is. It's to praise and glorify God through the way we live our lives. We're also called to tell others about God.
You are here for a reason. Your life matters to me, but most importantly to God. He loves you so much. He wouldn't have died and rose again for you if he didn't love you. Here's another thing. Really think about this. When Jesus was dying on the cross, you were on His mind. He knew your name and everything about you before there was time. If this doesn't show his infinite and undying love for you, I don't know what does! Here's my question for you. If you don't know him already, what are you gonna do with this love? Are you gonna reject it or embrace that love and accept Jesus into your heart? Remember, Jesus was thinking about you while he was dying on the cross. If you have any questions, DO NOT hesitate to ask me. It's too important to brush off. I love you guys!

  • Uff da!

    Hey Guys,

Sometimes I hate having a sister one year younger than me. Don't take me wrong I don't hate Emma or hate having a sister. I just hate it that we're one year apart. I hate getting compared. I hate getting into fights when I'm asked questions and I say the answer, which I've been told. I hate it when I do better at something than she does, I just wish we could do the same or she could be better at everything than me so I wouldn't have to deal with all the fights. I hate getting blamed for making fun of her when I don't do or say anything at all. Oh well, life goes on. I love you guys more than you can imagine!

Wow, School is over and I graduated yesterday. Honestly, I am completely stunned. I mean, people ask if I'm happy that school ended and I'm not really. I'm sure I'm one of the only old seniors who feel this way now, but I loved school, especially this year. Seriously, I'm quite sad about it.
I'll miss my classmates, but really, a lot of them are going to school with me next year, so I'll at least see some of them. Call me a dork, but the person I think I'm gonna miss the most is Miss Gonzalez. She's a really good teacher and I would advise everyone to take chemistry and physics. She's also extremely nice and really easygoing. She can give a lot of homework, but what's school with out homework? I mean, we're there to learn and if that means homework, bring it on. I love learning. Like I previously stated, I'm a dork. Miss Gonzalez totally inspires me to chase after my dreams no matter how hard it might be. That was her biggest piece of advice to me and I'm so thankful for that. Like the Relient K song says: You said I know that this will hurt, but if I don't break your heart then things will just get worse. If the burden seems too much to bear, remember, the end will justify the pain it took to get us there. I'm passing this advice on to you guys now and I pray that you will take it to heart. Work hard and never give up, no matter how hard something might be. Chase after your dreams. Run hard after them but remember who gives you the passion to keep on running; Jesus Christ. Thanks for this year, everyone. It was the best year of my life and I'll never forget any of you. Oh, and a shout out to anyone who will have Miss Gonzalez for a teacher next year, be nice to her. I also give you another challenge; try and get to know a teacher more than just as your teacher. Get to know them as a person. Find out their likes and dislikes and what makes them tick. Don't be afraid of being known as a suck up if you do. After all, it doesn't matter what others think. You will be totally blessed if you do. Take it from someone who knows first hand. I just thought I should let you guys know what's on my heart. To the underclassmen, have fun next year and don't stress out over the little things. Also, join the science bowl team. It's awesome. I just thought I should throw that one in there. :) I'll hopefully be seeing you guys around if not at church (eg:Kristen) I love you guys!
