Economy So Bad Local Man Fears Lay-Offs

“With recession as bad as it is I am looking at having to lay off 64% of my friends” said local man, Justin Moen. He plans to make a trip later this month to the capital to ask state government directly for bail out funds.

When asked how widespread the effect of the lay off would be, Moen replied “This could go as far back as 1982. Unfortunately, the friends I have had the longest would be the first to go.” One of his friends on the list was available for comment earlier in the week. “This was so sudden! One day I was one of his oldest friends and the next I was laid off. I really hope the government will be able to come through for him.”

The bail out package Moen is planning on asking for will include a rough estimated dollar amount of $29.95, the amount his internet provider charges him monthly. This fee will enable him to hopefully keep his friends for another month avoiding him more costly lay offs in the future.
