About Me

Me, Myself, and I
STREETE WARRIORS BASKETBALL CLUB
Established :August 2005.

Location: Streete,
Mullingar,
Co. Westmeath.
Rep of Ireland.



The club has a great bunch of members that are plucked mainly from the three counties of Westmeath, Longford and Cavan. Many of the players have had success at all levels of the sport and we boast to have some ex-international players at underage. They not only bring Skill, Committment and pure talent to the club but the members of Streete Basketball Club are a rare find...they are the heart and soul of what's good about basketball. Getting together and enjoying the sport - and a few laughs and a wee bit of craic is almost always had at trainings. They're made of tough stuff too...Warriors!
Training
Training is scheduled for every Saturday at 7pm sharp in Streete Parish Community Centre. If training is not on..you will be notified via text.

See Blog for this years Fixtures. A copy will put on the notice board in the Sports hall. So please take note of the up coming games!
New Members
New members of all ages and levels are more than welcome. Anybody wishing to join from the local Secondary schools are more than welcome. We're looking for anyone 16 and up to join the club as we are hoping to develop the club for future years. Any questions just email and they will be answered a.s.a.p.
News
Everyone is reminded to bring their Insurance money for the year (50 euro) and is especially well worth it because if last year is anything to go by, there are quite a few 'Hit-Men' bombin' up and down the courts!! Also the cost of renting the hall is 40 euro's per hour so everyone is required to make a huge effort and come to training and bring 3 euro to go towards the rent. To sum up..looking forward to the year ahead and lets hope we bring home some silverware.

The Club would like to thank Micheal Gettings and his company for sponsoring both the Mens and Ladies kit. It was a very kind guesture and greatly appreciated. Micheal has been playing basketball for years and rumour has it that he will indeed be back on court for this years season. We would also like to extend our best wishes to Micheal and Fiona who got married earlier this year.
