  • Where has the time gone?

Its been ages since I have been here and uploaded photos of the children. In fact, Jack was only new the last time I logged on, so I suppose its about time you all got to see just how much they have both grown.

Playcentre is a big part of our lives now, Jack goes twice a week and Amber three times (an extra day all by herself), its good for all of us to spend a little time apart. Some of the new photos I have added have been taken at Playcentre and you can see by the smiles that the children obviousy love it there.

We had a trip to Aussie last October with Jenny and Albie and got to visit with the family over there, thanks guys for such a memorable trip. I have added a couple of photos of what we got up to whilst there.

So much to say, but really am rushed for time, so will try to log on again later and add a bit more about the happenings in my household.

    CYA.

  • He's Arrived

Jack Alan Bringans was born on the 15th October 2006 weighing an impressive 9lb 1oz.

Jack 'the lad' has settled in well at home, to the disgust of my sister who thinks people should only be allowed one easy going child. As a precaution he is getting his hips checked at 6 weeks (Amber did as well) but all in all he is a healthy little boy, who is feeding and sleeping well to his mothers delight.

Amber thinks hes cute (not that she has said) but she willingly gives hims kisses and pats him on the head like the dogs. She is distressed whenever he wears socks and finds it her responsiblity to remove them, she has also taken a liking to his blanket and anything else that may be his and not hers.

Christmas is looming and we are going camping again at Pekata, although this time with a caravan, as even I couldn't imagine camping with two kids and a tent. So something to get my head around and to organise over the next couple of months.

  • Less than 7 weeks to go

Amber has just celebrated her first birthday, she had a wonderful little party with her friends and family. A bouncy castle, party food and cake, what more could children ask for. I never realised how stressful these things could be and being 33 weeks pregnant doesn't help the situation much, but, we survived and there is a year before the next one needs to be organised, plenty of time to recover.

I say 7 weeks to go, but I would put money on not making it that long, my midwife thinks maybe 38 week, my dad thinks maybe the end of the month. All Aaron thinks is that it better not be during this years rugby trip (he can't possibly miss two). Me, I don't really care, Ambers had her birthday and that was all I was thinking about for a while, now, the baby can come whenever it likes. I just want to meet my little bundle of joy.

Ambers photo album is now full, so will have to start on a new one for her second year. No doubt there will be one there for the new baby before too long. You'll just have to keep checking. CYA
