Hi... I got bored and decided to write a blog entry... dunno what to say really... so I'm just gonna write about whats going on in my life at the moment, and close with a "what I'm listening to currently and you should listen to as well" thingamabob.

So, Valentine's Day has been and gone. Normally I'd just spend the day wallowing in singleness, but for the first time ever I have managed to hold onto a girlfriend long enough to properly celebrate valentine's day without sympathy cards =P. Needless to say, Hanners' present simultaneously satisfied my love of 1) Chocolate, 2) Scarves and 3) Piglets (don't ask...). I felt kinda bad with being boring and just buying flowers and chocolate... but I wrote a poem, which I hope she liked =D

OK, so this week I had a University interview at UCL (University College London, for those who haven't been thinking about universities yet). Anyway, it went roughly like this-

1) I arrived in London dressed up smartly
2) A swedish-speaking person showed me around the campus
3) I went to the German Studies/Scandinavian Studies building after being talked at by people
4) I met the ONLY other person doing German and Italian ab initio
5) I was interviewed by a man who, honestly, absolutely terrified me - and he was apparently "Really Nice" - but then again, people are always scary in interview situations
6) I went to the Italian/French/EveryOtherLanguageU

7) an Italian lady interviewed me
I ran away to find my mum
9) We went to a MASSIVE bookshop and I bought a play in German
10) We saw some Hare Krishna's dancing through the streets with a microphone, followed by a very serene looking Buddhist monk in a beanie
11) I went home

A kinda crazy day... Since then, not much has happened.

Moulin Rouge is showing next week, for all people interested there are still tickets available for Wednesday, but Thursday, Friday and Saturday are all sold out.

Ok, so, Music - got introduced to Justice recently, if you're into electronic french stuff, a la Daft Punk, you should give em a go - unless you already have, and I'm way behind you. They're a breath of fresh air after Daft Punk's "Human After All", which was (as many fans agree) a disappointment.

Ok, I gave in and bought a new, slightly higher-range guitar today - an Epiphone SG Standard. I'm not gonna go into details of cost, but its beautiful, and is so much easier to solo on than my old Dean Vendetta (which I'm still gonna use)

Anyway, as is the custom I have to name my new guitar, and I'm taking all suggestions. I think that it needs a girls name, just cos it seems to be more feminine than Sven was, but otherwise, feel free to run wild with names
