10 Random Things
Each player starts with 10 random facts/habits about themselves. People who get tagged need to write their own blog about their 10 things, as well as these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose 10 people to get tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged and to read your blog.
1. I love palm trees. I have many pictures of me with a palm tree. I don’t know where this fascination came from, but it remains one to this day.
2. I get really excited about small little things. (Simon finds this odd and hallarious) Example: On our way to Tahoe we had brought a bag of chips to snack on, and as we climbed higher, the air pressure made the bag expand like a balloon, and I laughed until I cried I found this so entertaining.
3. I buy books I love and will re-read them multiple times. The record I believe is Victory by A.C. Green which I read 8 times through.
4. I love traditions. If we did it once and enjoyed it, it should become an annual event in my book. I’ve loosened up a bit the past few years, but still enjoy the consistency of traditions.
5. I like random junk that has been in the family for a long time. (In my book that could be anywhere from 1-50 years.) The one exception was when I had been sleeping on my great grandma’s mattress for a few years and my back started to hurt, therefore I moved on to a new one, but not without a little guilt.
6. My favorite board game is monopoly and has been ever since I was little. My only thought on why this is, would be that I liked all the play money as a little girl, and since I’m a stickler for tradition it has remained my favorite game, unfortunately I can’t reveal my strategy. =)
7. I have a fear of sleeping on the top bunk. When I was young I would have nightmares on the top bunk, and soon switched with my sister to the bottom. The irrational fear remains to this day.
8. The beach is one of my favorite places to go. I grew up near the ocean which may have something to do with it. I find it peaceful and relaxing to listen to the waves and feel the sand.
9. I like to bake. I’ll cook as well, but I like baking better. Maybe it has to do with the fact that in baking more than likely has sugar is involved, but it’s something I do for fun.
10. I don’t get jokes. Most of the time they have to be explained to me. My family finds this quite entertaining and has had many laughs over the years at my expense. Simon seems to find a little more compassion for me when I get a confused look on my face.

Ok, so I think 24 is a very interesting show, quite good and captivating. Yet it drives me nuts that you have to be married to the show to understand what's going on. I missed the season premier, (not to mention the previous seasons) so i've been trying to catch up from the get go. Anyway there is my whining for the day. Future Elections
Several things in the news as of late, one being Schwarzenegger getting re-elected in November. 37% of voters say they are likely to re-elect him. It'll be interesting to see how he does in the primary.
Also, Condi, does anyone think she'll run. She's a dream candidate if she does, but she has made it clear that she has no aspirations to reach the Oval Office. I would sure love to watch the race for the White House between Condi and Hillary. Condi has amazing class.1 Comment 385 weeks

Hi there Mrs. Baros! I just wanted to say "hi" and thank you for your post! Though I'm a few days delayed, we just arrived home from our cruise...it was a lot of fun, but I REALLY missed the boys! I was sooooo excited to see them today! I'll have to post up pictures, John went parasailing! I got lots of pictures to prove it! It was funny, john asked if they wanted him to pay before or after, and the guy said "after, cause I don't want to have to deal with giving you a refund if you die" NICE! There was a little twinkle in his eye, but not exactly a comment that calms the nerves! How are you & Simon doing? When is your big anniversary trip? Isn't it coming up here in the next week or two? Hope you guys are doing great! Miss ya! ps-tell Sherilyn "HI!" and it's no problem to leave her car...if she doesn't mind me taking it for a spin! Hee hee just kidding...

Hi Bean, thanks for the super sweet birthday yesterday. I was going to wear the fun sweater tonight to the belated Christmas program but then I got stuck in REALLY BAD traffic and the snow started piling up over hear so I ended up coming back home. Hope you guys had a fun night!

Hey there! How was the beach? That sounded like fun.
I've been wanting to tell you about the movie I told you about on the email...well, I wouldn't recommend it. I'll have to send you an email about it. Hope things are going well! You can tell Simon he was right, Ethan left him a voicemail, and Elijah left you one! They both wanted to talk on the phone to you guys, so I let each of them call you. Hope you guys have a great rest of the week...it's almost Friday!! That's always reason to celebrate!
Dana and I were reminiscing last night over dinner about our New York trip, so I thought I'd share one of the fond memories w/ you. Enjoy! How's life in Cali, by the way? I miss you!
