• January 25, 2006..... Enjoying the peace and quiet...

  It is so peaceful here today...the kids are asleep, my hubby is at work and I am in the middle of scrapbooking! The New Year came and went quietly and now things seem to be slowing down just a tad!! lol FINALLY!!!! Before Christmas I was so busy I just wanted to stop and scream!! Shopping, time with my friends, bowling, taking care of the kids, getting everything ready for Christmas, card club, church, making costumes for the church play...I was about ready to pull my hair out. No wait..I couldn't do that...I don't have very much as it is!!!
  
  I am thinking about hosting a crop where anyone who wants to come and do scrapbooking can bring all their items and just scrapbook all night or till they get tired. I am not going to sell anything......just a bunch of women getting together to scrapbook! Still in the planning stages though. I haven't made a decision one way or the other yet.
  
  Well better get back to scrapbooking before the little ones wake up...that should be anytime now.

• January 6, 2006....Brrr! It's cold!

  Boy, is it cold outside today! AND it is SNOWING!!!! Yeah!!! Only bad thing is that the roads are a little slick. Drive carefully!
  
  Today is my granddaughter's birthday. She is six years old today!! I went shopping last night for her present and although I don't like buying Bratz dolls, I bought her the Bratz Babyz and a little Bratz car. The only good thing is it was on clearance! She better like it!!!
  
  Well better go for now....my grandson will be here shortly! My daughter-in-law is taking my granddaughter to Chuck E. Cheese's for a party.

• January 5, 2006..........Granddaughter's birthday.....

  Tomorrow is my granddaughter's birthday. She will be six years old! It seems like yesterday we were celebrating her birth! She is growing up way too fast!!!
  
  Not much going on now since the holidays are over. I went to card club last night and we had a great time!!!! Our new members joined us last night and they are great!!! Everyone got to join in on the conversation and not just one or two dominated the evening!
  
  Well, like I said, not much going on and not much to write about, so........
