Australian Alcohol Prices!
Okay now this is getting stupid the government has put up ALL pre-mix prices to apparently curb what they call 'Binge Drinking' but what most people of this generation call a good night out.
For Example:
1 Bottle of Smirnoff Black is between $9.90 and $11.00
1 Carton of Jim Beam Cans is $99.00...im not kidding its stupid!
1 can of Jim Beam between $8.00 and $10.00
Even Beer has gone up guys so your not unaffected.
The really dumb thing is that as a bartender my workmates and I are coping the abuse from patrons..and i dont fucking blame them honestly.
Its not going to curb underagers drinking either it just means they are either going to start robbing people to have the cash for booze or they are going to start buying bottles of spirits and mixing their drinks themselves, and as for those of us that are of legal age obviously people will start drinking at home first and turning up to the Clubs already smashed..which just makes Bartenders and Security (all of which are friends of mine) work extra hard and it will make our jobs alot more dangerous too.1 Comment 272 weeks
