Have you ever tried to lose a shadow?

There's a dark shade following me. It's terrifying, and when I try to run away I see the shadow is chasing. It looms over me never loosening its grasp. There was no way to lose the shadow, I found no way up until now.

When the lights are out I find myself alone at last. No shadow... but then I'm wrong. Not so alone after all. Instead of the shadow is now a cold and malevolent black. Nothing but darkness. It's terrifying. If I couldn't face the shade there would be no way I could accept the darkness, but here I am. The feeling is strange. I know that the darkness has already consumed all there is in the room but I feel it growing... stretching to further reaches... Into my mind, or was it already there?

There is only shadow when there is light, the two sit in balance, so why am I cast into the malicious shade of misery and despair? When can I once again rejoice in the light? In the light with no more problems, troubles, thoughts. No shadow.

We all have our shadows. They're always there and you can't escape them, but you may also be unable to be rid of them. Left in the dark with naught but the thoughts in your head.
When we see anothers gloom we measure that to our own, making it seem that somebody else really doesn't have it bad. What does that help? It does not matter, a trouble all the same. Miniscule in some eyes, but also scarily life changing, problematic and confusing in anothers. No matter how you look at somebody else, or people see you it is all still terrifying to each person. A shadow reamins a shadow, as does the darkness remain the black abyss of despair.

Now show me the light to see all this darkness into nothing but the weight that keeps one in balance.

12. Had feelings for someone who didn't have them back? uhuh, kinda odd feelings though. Wierd things those. looking back ya see what they really were
13. Been arrested? Nope
14. Made out with a stranger? Lol! no
15. Met up with a member of the opposite sex somewhere? Yup
16. Left your house without telling your parents? Yes...
17. Had a crush on your neighbour? No we were just real close
18. Ditched school to do something more fun? mum told me to stay home after doctors, but instead she took me out bowling and food and yeah i've skived skool to... not go to skool
19. Slept in a bed with a member of the same sex? yeah my brother :S
20. Seen someone die? Nope
21. Eaten something that wasn't food? bubbles
22. Kissed a picture? Yeah
23. Slept in until 3? hehe, yeah a few times
24. Miss someone right now? yeah, i always miss her but oh well
25. Laid on your back and watched cloud shapes go by? alot of times yes

27. Played dress up? i recall a few occasions yeah. why did i wear the dress...
28. Cheated while playing a game? PS2 cheats other than that not really
29. Been lonely? Yes quite frequently. Unfortunaetly I've grown to enjoy it
30. Fallen asleep at work/school? hehe yes They thought i was ill so sent me home
31. Been to a club? Like a ravin club? then no
32. Felt an earthquake? nope, why? was there one?

35. Been suspended from school? Internally excluded yes
36. Had detention? lol far too many, like one every day in yr7 but im good now
37. Been in a car accident? No
38. Hated the way you look? hmmm... i guess, not so much now

60. Ever too scared to watch scary movies alone? havent had much experience with horrors I would if i had any though

When God closes a window, he opens a door.
What does that mean? I reckon... it means that even if an oppurtunity arose and you didn't take it, another will follow in the future to come. All well and good, but it doesn't guarantee you what you want does it? Looking back you know that you should have taken it, or you were too blind-sighted to not notice the breeze until the window closed on you.

Maybe information gets back to you and you realise what you missed, what the window let in; a cool breeze, or perhaps a harsh gust. Now you know what ya missed. You could be glad its done and gone, or perhaps you want it back, and this time take it in; now you wish you had another opportunity.

Then there's that door. It's open to you, but it's not the same is it? What did you miss? You want to find out. You can only hope that the big man upstairs is kind enough to open that window again, other than open a new door full of new happenings.


That was aload of really rubbish wasn't it. I personally have a fair idea as to what I mean, but I don't think those reading this do. I'm going to tell you to not dwell on babble, or perhaps if you think on it you'll reaslise it is not as random as it appeared at first. Go about it as you like
