I had a good day. I got a special coffee this morning. Arrived at work and there was a present waiting for me from mom. My boss called in sick with the flu, so I had the place to myself all day. I got a call from Nancy. Cards from Aunt Mary, Aunt Eileen, and grandma in the mail. Messages from Marilyn and Aunt Mary on my phone, and then a phone call from Mark later.
Katie made me dinner, just what I like, chicken, mashed potatos and veggies. It was good. Rented movies, which I fell asleep during one. What a surprize.
Week-end was great, which I consider a extended birthday. And then we will have a party here Thursday with the Survivor group.
It is nice we have a day once a year where we feel special.

I love the Survivor group. Not only is it a great group of people, but we have a good time. Survivor started with the three of us treating Survivor as our time. Time to unwind, have a good time, relax, socialize. A.J. came to town, she joined us. Then the next season, I wanted to branch out, so we asked a few more single people in this little town, Barry, Tim and A.J.'s room mate usually were at our weekly gathering. Then it grew. Our normal group averages about 7. Normally we gather here in our living room, with goodies, drinks, and conversation. I love seeing people staying on after survivor to talk. Anxious to gather, for it's not just a game on t.v. it is a get away, a social time with other people our own age. We all are different, yet we seem to have a common good nature. This season, I have come to really appreciate our group. You are an amazing group. Thankyou.

I'm sooooo excited I don't even know where to start. I did good. Ahhhhhh,
I went to the theater. I sat between Peter and Abe. We chatted, we laughed, we were loud, but we had a GOOD time. The music...it's all drums, what more do I need to say. The dancers were so full of energy, happy, enthusiastic, and amazing. It ended way too quickly.
He...you know he... I knew was going to be there. As soon as I walked in the door he bee lined it away from me. Doesn't matter cause I already had my mind set how I was going to act. I wasn't there for him. At intermission, again I didn't say anything...ahh, what ever. Traveled around, chatted to everyone, was a social butterfly. And I looked good. I like when I look good, And I'm sorry, I have to do the rub it in thing, me talking to everyone, being happy, has got to rub it in. Especially when I'm getting along well with a guy....ha! Not that that was what I was trying to do, it just happened.
When it was all over, I had garbage in my hand, nope, no garbage can, except near him. And no, I'm not going to do something to avoid him. Don't change my life around him. So I went over, and talked to him. Like it wasn't a big deal, cause it wasn't. He seemed happy to talk to me, but he always does. Wow, what a complex guy. Someone who DOES NOT wear his feelings on his sleeve. And I'm not going to get into that. But once again I'm in that spot where I'm happy with myself. Ahhh, I love that. I love rubbing it in, I'm good with out you. This is what you are missing. That's normal isn't it?
I love walking away when he doesn't affect me. It is so exhilarating.
