am feeling slightly guilty that i havent written anything for so long, so i will try and catch up!
after we left Sydney, we had a 16 hour caoch journey to Brisbane. that was the most uncomfy 16 hrs of my life... needless to say, both lyn and i swore never to go through anything like it ever again! we were in Brissie for a couple of days looking for jobs, which we found surprisingly quickly. the next day we packed up our things and lugged our cases back to the coach depo, for another long coach journey to Mitchell, the town that was to be our home for the next month.
Mitchell, we discovered after a 9hr trip, was basically a road with some houses on it, which i expected. what i didnt expect was that this tiny place had 4 pubs to its name! i had alot of fun in Mitchell, everyone was very friendly and made us feel at home, even taking me out on a roo hunt (lyn didnt go, being a veggie she thought it would have been unethical... i, being a true carnivore, was well up for it!). we had a very emotional goodbye from all our friends that we'd made in that short period of time, before getting back on the coach for the long trip back to Brisbane.
Frome Brisbane, we flew to New Zealand for my cousins wedding. i twent without a hitch, from the before party bbq to the ceremony, to the after party where little cousin sophie got quite tipsy, to the after after party the next day with the most amazing buffet... i must say the highlight was the wedding cake- it was a pile of the most amazing, delicious, even-better-than-grannys chocolate brownies... mmmmmmmm.......
flew from NZ to melbourne, which i have to say has been my favorite place so far. its so arty- sculptures in the streets, so many different shops, etc! we went to st Kilda festival, which was good fun. nearly made myself sick on the rides... meh! we stayed in a great hostel, it was a bit of a dump, but there was a party going on somewhere every night (mostly in our dorm...). good fun!
from melbourne we flew to Perth. by this stage we were desperately in need of some more cash, so once again we were on a job hunting mission. we couldnt find any anywhere, and by this stage we were getting desperate. we eventually found one that let us stay together, but it meant that we had to fly to somewhere we'd never heared of... Port Hedland (rumble of doom....). the next three months were spent in a jumble of working, sleeping and eating, but it turned out to be alot of fun. some how in between everything i found time to visit karaijini, go fishing, and have a birthday party as
well as making good friends. lyn also found time to gain a boyfriend, and together we bought a car, for the next leg of our trip.
but before that, Lyn and i moved to Broome, where we are now. well probably stay here for a bit, while brad catches up with us in Boris, our car.

so, who knows when ill next be near a computer to write my blog? the saga continues....

got my tongue peirced yesterday!! yay! tho now i wont be able to speak/eat for 2 weeks... sniff.... how will i survive??
on mon lyn, nick (a housemate), and i went on a tour of the gay bars near our house, it was vv fun! loads of v camp guys, and drag queens, and drunken singing...
xmas is coming, and were doing secret santa in our house. ive got a very easy one, thank god! theres a carol concert in the Domain (part of the botanical gdns) this weekend, i think were going to take a picnic and sing a long to aussie celebs like the wiggles (look them up, theyre soo cool!). still no news on the job front....

I love foam parties!! so much fun! why dont we have them more often? although im not sure i want to know what some people were getting up to underneath all the bubbles....
also went out with some of my housemates on saturday, and have decided that one of them is an absolute idiot. which is a shame, cos he seemed so nice at first...
hmmmm, so had a job for a week, then kind of got fired or quit this morning, not really sure what happened, but im back to job hunting again anyway... i really need a job- lots of expensive post to be posted!!
