i wish...........
Mama was queen of the mambo
Papa was king of the Congo
Deep down in the jungle
I started bangin' my first bongo
Every monkey'd like to be
In my place instead of me
Cause I'm the king of bongo, baby
I'm the king of bongo bong
I went to the big town
Where there is a lot of sound
From the jungle to the city
Looking for a bigger crown
So I play my boogie
For the people of big city
But they don't go crazy
When I'm bangin' in my boogie
I'm the "king of the bongo, king of the bongo bong"
Hear me when I come
King of the bongo, king of the bongo bong
They say that I'm a clown
Making too much dirty sound
They say there is no place for little monkey in this town
Nobody'd like to be in my place instead of me
Cause nobody go crazy when I'm bangin' on my boogie
I'm the king of the bongo, king of the bongo bong
Hear me when I come
"King of the bongo, king of the bongo bong"
Bangin' on my bongo all that swing belongs to me
I'm so happy there's nobody in my place instead of me
I'm a king without a crown hanging loose in a big town
But I'm the king of bongo baby I'm the king of bongo bong
King of the bongo, king of the bongo bong
Hear me when I come, baby, king of the bongo, king of the bongo bong..0 Comments 256 weeks

Save Zimbabwe from Mugabe
Dear friends,
African leaders can still save Zimbabwe by holding an emergency summit to broker a legitimate government.
On Thursday, 27th June, Zimbabwe will hold a cruel sham of a vote for President. The opposition Movement for Democratic Change has just withdrawn from the run-off -- not in a concession of victory, but rather in recognition that Mugabe's campaign of violence and terror has erased any hope for a democratic election.
But against the odds, hope survives. Amidst growing international pressure, Mugabe's ZANU-PF party and the opposition have entered private talks. A unity government may be possible yet.
The United Nations Security Council unanimously held on Monday that free and fair elections are now impossible in Zimbabwe. The UN Secretary-General spoke out. But it is African leaders, most of all Thabo Mbeki, who hold the key. Even Mugabe cannot cling to power without their cooperation. Today, we're launching an emergency campaign, petitioning these leaders to call an immediate summit, isolate Mugabe, and broker a legitimate government for Zimbabwe. Our call will be published in big newspaper advertisements in South Africa, Tanzania, Angola, and Mozambique this week -- click here to see the ads and endorse their message:
http://www.avaaz.org/en/save_zimbabw...
Zimbabwe's neighbours supply its electricity and goods, and control the borders. Many Southern African leaders are already calling for the postponement of the election -- but there's a real danger that they will end up accepting this charade. This would be a grave miscalculation: if Mugabe succeeds in his de facto coup, Zimbabwe's implosion will accelerate, and chaos could spread throughout the region.
So our campaign will publicly name those African leaders who hold Mugabe's last remaining lifeline. If these leaders step up strongly now, they can convince enough of Mugabe's officials that change is coming one way or another -- and set the stage for Morgan Tsvangirai to lead a unity government to pull Zimbabwe back together.
Robert Mugabe saved Zimbabwe from colonialism. Now it's time for African leaders to save Zimbabwe from him.
Help us raise 250,000 voices this week, including a great roar from every country in Africa, to be delivered in an immediate multi-country ad campaign. Click to see the ads, sign, and then forward this to friends:

cardigans, oversized sunglasses and takeaway soy lattes.....
Coming from a small town i thought Wellington would be this huge, exciting place, a little scary but a bit of an adventure as well...how wrong was I? Don't get me wrong its 1000 times better than Wangas, marton or p-town but as for people being more onto it here or more "out there" or whatever, i gotta say i'm disappointed. At first i thought everyone looked like they might be interesting with their cardigans and scarves ad oversized sunnies but then i realised its the middle of winter so what's with the sunnies? Perhaps theres something in the water that causes Welliongtonians to have albino eyes....or perhaps they're just particularly sensitive....the boys especially look like pussies so thats probably it i guess....juthst a bit thensative???
the next thing that struck me, as i got to know people, was that I was constantly finding that i was waving a big fancy wave to people I recognised across the street oinly to realise that I didnt know these people at all..The cause of all this was not my newly developed light-sensitive albino eyes but the fact that my newbie self was so-far unaware of the Wellington dress code- cardigans, scarves, chucks and oversized sunnies- same rule applies for boys and girls note....silly me, I cant believe i hadnt realised earlier...how uncool of me...i mean how embarrassing....six weeks later i think its probably enough time for everone to forget about it and move on to some other gossip so Im putting on my new cardi, chucks (I scraped them on the concrete so they dont look new SHAMe!) and my $20 fake plastic ray bans and Im gonna face the world......
p.s. At the back of the parliament buildings are 3 sculptures that resemble a mushroom, joint and banana....what is the artistic meaning of this?? To get really wasted and then eat the banana when you get the munchies? honestly.........0 Comments 267 weeks

Shanna Shanna1/6/09haha you so funny my dear shabagail. Im glad you had fun at Zep, when you coming down here? um I dunno I guess i worked my way up from the bottom, I used to be a checkout girl and then a barmaid and then an assistant and then a shopgirl and then an assistant manager and then a manager and then an assistant manager and then an administrator.....and thats only about half the jobs Ive had lol. I reckon you just have to get lots of little shit jobs and then after about 2 years of that you've got enough experience to move up a step and you do that for a couple of years you move up again....that sounds incredibly long and boring but its true. The other half is bothering to turn up (you'd be surprised a lot of people arent reliable) So guess who got the promotion if there was one- me coz im the only dumbass who turns u lol...also the rest is luck and talking a lot of bullshit to be quite honest with you. Everybodys the same they all do it lol just pretend youre the shit! Coz you are!
