- Me, Myself, and I
- I am originally from Manila, Philippines moved to Auckland, New Zealand on Jul 2002. Along with my move, it ment that I had to leave my family, friends and comforts. But since then my life has never been the same! I have had trials and things go compleatly wrong but on the other hand, I have met a LOT of people from different countries (Australia, South Africa, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Malaysia and America...to name a few), made great friends that have stuck with me through thick and thin. I have traveled to a couple of places and experience the cultures of the world. These are experiences that I will never trade for anything else in the world, don't get me wrong I still miss my family but where I am right now is the place where God has placed me.
I am very competitive, funny (at least I think so), easy going, hyper-active and talkative. For more descriptions, just meet me in person.

- Our Greatest Fear by Marianne Williamson
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light , not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of god. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make and manifest the glory of god that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

- How well do you know Adrian? 11 Taken
What is it to be saved, is it to survive, get lucky, be indebted to someone or is it to live? Picture this; Simon was busy talking on his mobile phone while crossing the street and was totally oblivious to the oncoming traffic. A man just a few paces from him sees what’s about to happen and without hesitation rushes to the Simon and pushes him out of the car’s path but unfortunately the man does not make it and gets hit by the car. The ambulance arrives a few minutes later and tries to stabilise him but is unable to do so and dies on the street. What should Simon do, be thankful to the man and communicate the great sacrifice that he did for his sake, thank the God and rejoice, mourn for the man’s death and go on with his life what should he do? Similarly, how should we react to the sacrifice that Christ laid, with the man at least he had a chance to live while trying to save Simon, but Jesus did not, he was fully aware to what extent he needed to go to save us. Through the humiliation, suffering and ultimately...death.
I come back to the question I asked earlier. What is it to be saved? We did not survive, we’ve already won; we did not get “lucky”, God chose us; we are not to be stuck in being indebted to our savoir, He loved us; we were called...to LIVE!!! Live because He has given us life! Life as defined in the Miriam-Webster dictionary is an organismic state characterized by capacity for metabolism, growth, reaction to stimuli, and reproduction.
From birth our lives have been bent to destruction because of our sin. But God made a way for our salvation. But many times as Christians we live like we are mourning every day, feeling unworthy of God’s sacrifice, paralyzed of making the tiniest mistakes fearing that we will fail not just ourselves but God as well. Can I tell you something? This is not what Jesus died for! We are to live life to the fullest, life that grows every single moment, because by not living is dying.
So how do we live? We live by making God’s strength your strength and His worship your worship. By embodying what God has called us to do in this world. It is allowing God to be your saviour and letting go of your pride and stop trying to save yourself.
Ps 118:13, 14 (NKJV)
You pushed me violently, that I might fall, but the LORD helped me. The LORD is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation.

A sister’s love is true and unfailing;
It is there when you’re not and
A shoulder to cry on when you need it.
It is love that can never be bought by silver or gold
But rewards more than diamonds or pearls.
It is love that is soft and comforting
Or stern and frightening.
Her love will teach you to be patient
When she goes shopping with you;
It will teach you to be kind
Because kindness was first shown to you;
It will teach you to be emotional
Because women are;
It will teach you to be understanding
Because they are at times unreasonable;
It will teach you to be joyful because
You just can’t help but smile when they are there;
It will teach you to be sensitive
Because you get scolded if you’re not;
It will teach you to be generous because
You want to show your appreciation for her;
It will teach you how to listen
Because she really likes to talk,
It will teach you how to cry
Because she lets you;
It will teach you how to love
Because you are loved;
And above all it will teach you how to love God
Because you know He gave her to you!
