  • Everything is a conspiracy

    Everything is a conspiracy

Becoming aware of the dynamics of our reality you can start to see how everything is a conspiracy. You look at government and see how money and big business and corporations are involved in trying to promote a certain outcome. Look at religion and see how a certain outcome is desired and obtained by the use of psychological persuasion. If you make people feel guilty they will have a desire to do something different, and if you convince them that they need a certain outcome and in order to achieve this outcome they must behave in a certain way, then you have a conspiracy.

Conspiracy is actually about having a desired outcome and manipulating the circumstances in order to achieve this outcome, and this is the way our psychological world works. Look at advertising, you want to sell a particular product and so you generate the required reactions in order to achieve your goal. If you convince people that your product is desirable and obtainable, then you have created the need, and the people will wish to fulfill this desire and obtain the product.

This is basic post hypnotic suggestion. Our education system works the same way, it has a desired outcome in mind, and in order to achieve this outcome a set of circumstances are required. There is an idea that a certain outcome is desirable and in order to achieve this outcome the child is told that they must behave in a certain way and follow specific instructions, they are told that they must think in a certain way and do all this well and achieve a certain standard, all in order to achieve further desired outcomes in the future. And if they do not reach this goal or behave in a manner which is in-congruent to reaching this goal they are given ideas of unwanted outcomes in order to instill fear and guilt to promote agreement to the desired outcome.

And so this whole process is in fact simply the nature of the mind itself at work. You want something, so you figure out how to get it, and if you cannot just simply reach out and take it, then you construct methods to obtain it. You can call this manipulation, or conspiracy, but the basic truth is that is it simply the way the mind operates. It comes about because of fear, when you have a desired outcome and this outcome is not what is actually happening, then you feel a tension between what is and what you want to be, then you start to think of ways to achieve your desired outcome. Now if you observe closely you can see that you are actually creating your own attachment to fear. The more you want this desired outcome, the greater the tension and so the greater the fear. The desire creates a tension, a tension between what is, and what is desired. And in this tension fear arises, because in this space of what is and what is desired, there is a gap, an uncertainty, an unknown, and the instinctual reaction of the mind to the unknown, is fear.

The greatest conspiracy of all, is the idea of a conspiracy. This is simply playing on the natural fear of the unknown and uncertain. But if you sit and become aware of this feeling, this anxiety we feel when we think about the uncertain unknown future, you see that it is not so frightening, the fright is just a gut reaction, like a child will fear the dark, it is perfectly natural, you cannot see where you are going, so you are aware that you might trip and fall. It is an awareness, and you can use this awareness to be alert, to be sharp and keen and awake. Instead of using the awareness to instill fear of the unknown, you can use this awareness to sharpen your senses and heighten your instinct to the level of intuition.

  • There is a great force of darkness

There can only be darkness in the shadows, but what is casting the shadow.

There is a possibility that as you become more aware of the world around you, that you will begin to see how everything seems wrong, seems corrupted. And there is every chance that you might interpret all this as evil, as a great movement of dark forces working against you. This is correct in one sense. There is a great force of darkness working against you, but it is not out there in the external universe. No, this great force of darkness that you have encountered is your own shadow.

As much as you desire good to exist, this desire is equally giving the opposite its existence. All of the effort that you put into making things right and good is equally fed into keeping things wrong and bad. It is a simple law of mathematics. The conscious universe is balanced, the more effort you make to keep your shoes clean, the more they seem to get dirty. There is a balance. The harder you try to push something, the more it seems to resist you. The more well behaved you want your children to be, the more they seem to disobey you. And if you are not working with the natural forces of the universe, then you will be at war with them, always fighting and resisting.

So you are becoming more aware, and noticing all the corruption and brutality and evil in the world. But look to the source, there can only be darkness in the shadows. Who is casting the shadow? Becoming more aware is evolution, it is an evolution of your consciousness, but in order for this process to function to its totality there is one more point of awareness that is required. Up until now you have been noticing all the insanity around you, you have been aware of the external world. But there is one place that you have not looked, and it has become almost like a blind spot. It is as though you are looking around with a powerful beam of light, shining awareness onto all that you see. But you have missed one spot; you have not shone the light into yourself. You have not illuminated the source; otherwise you would have seen the source of the darkness, the object that is casting the shadow.

Awareness is the first step; but if you use it as a weapon against the world then you will live in the shadow of your own judgements. Be aware, and be aware of the source of the shadows. Then something new will occur; through this new awareness of the source, a deep sensitivity arises. You are no longer in blame, cursing the external world for all that is going wrong. Being aware without the awareness of the source is like being in a bubble. You are not dynamically inter-flowing with life, it is like sitting in a bubble and watching the crazy world go by. And when something comes into your field of awareness and buzzes you up the wrong way, you name it as not desirable. It is a shadow, a blip in your light. But what is the source of this blip, this undesirable event. Shine some of your powerful light of awareness onto the source and you will see the cause of the blip. Expectation is the mother of all disappointment, and when you expect something to be a certain way you cast a shadow of expectation.

The undesirable is your own conditioned psychological reaction, projected externally into the world as something to reject, something objectionable. The universe is your friend, you have only made it your enemy through your own rejection, through your judgement and fear. What do you see when you look into yourself with the awareness that you are the source of the shadows that you experience as conflict in the world. What do you experience when you are aware of the source of all conflict. Try it and see, step into some uncomfortable situation and be aware of the source of the discomfort. You might notice a great sensitivity and a tremendous release of energy. Do not fight this feeling, let it be and watch it, it is a release. The shadow is caused by a block of energy, a pattern of thought stuck in a loop. By beco

  • Holding on

I find myself holding on, holding on to something unknowable, no, holding on to everything knowable in the vein attempt to avoid the unknowable. I feel myself slipping from reason, from certainty, from solidity. I am confronted with a terrible fear of the unknown, and my mind is projecting fantasies of all sorts. The truth is that I do not know, cannot know, because I am the very barrier between these worlds, of known and unknown. Here I am sitting on a mountain, no, a universe of eternal infinite unknown, with a sliver of ice to hold onto. A sliver of what we call reality, a very thin veil of solidity that we plant our lives in and build our futures upon. Is it any wonder, when one meditates on the meaning of life that one feels some discomfort. A deep uneasiness, a very real feeling of danger, of the ice cracking beneath our feet and all that we think of as real coming crashing down forever submerged in the abyss of the unknown.

It is from this place, perched on the edge of the abyss that I wish to communicate from, but who will listen, most people spend all of their time and energy avoiding this place, avoiding even contemplating it, never mind partaking in deliberate dialogue about it.

And of what use is it ? There is so much to be done. So many little things to occupy oneself with. Or rather, so many important businesses to take care of, the maintaining of the security, certainty, health, wealth, etc… of ourselves and our community and world. So many important things to be done. Who cares about the bigger picture when there are so many important things to be doing.

Well I do, I always have, and I have always regarded this bigger picture as being much more important that all the little things to be done and doing. It may be perfectly alright for field mice to be busy doing important little things, but field mice are not blessed with such significant brain machinery capable of contemplating the edges of the knowable universe. Of course many people have spent their entire lives contemplating the unknown, and what use has it been to the masses who care not for such things. Perhaps much more than anyone would care to consider.

There is a great uneasiness as I write this, the sun may be out, the trees may be in bloom and the breeze slight and all things calm and pleasant and nice. But this feels like a lie, like a calm before a storm. In the world at large wars are raging and tearing people apart and to be sitting in comfort feels like a lie. And it is a lie, but what has this got to do with the unknowable.

The unknowable represents the lens through which one can see all things that were once separate coming together as directly connected. What lies behind warfare, what lies behind division and conflict and killing and violence and suffering. The idea that you are separate from others, from everything. The lie of the ages is that you and I are separate, you and the food you eat are separate, you and the sky that you breath is separate, you and the ocean you drink is separate. Of course you are not separate, how could you have ever been fooled into believing this nonsense ?

But you are fooled, and so you continue to dump rubbish into the oceans, and pollute the skies and desecrate the earth and kill one another. All because you believe the lie that you and I are not one. If you say you are a spiritual person then how can you judge another, for to judge another is to hold yourself separate from the other, and this division is the beginning of warfare, and as we can see, great wars thriving today across the world in the name of religion. To be spiritual is to not divide, it is to see and act as if all are directly connected. Everything is inter-related and inter-connected, affect one part and in some way the whole is affected. Yet our conditioning still preaches the lie of separateness. It is so deeply ingrained in us, that we can even talk convincingly about being spiritual people, then in the next breat

    Boredom

Boredom happens when you stop being creative !

Boredom is a form of sleep, it is when the soul is asleep and the mind is franticly searching for something to be occupied with. When the soul is awake, nothing is boring, because everything is fascinating and alive to the soul.

  • Judgement

To judge is to separate yourself from Life.

After many years of education, being taught how to evaluate, how to censor, how to correct, how to suppress, how to manipulate. After a lifetime of making judgements, this deeply ingrained habit is a hard one to free. Yet this tremendous challenge ...
