Now, the Bog Savages play classic and original rebel songs in San Francisco and Northern California. The band has been highlighted on KRON television news, played at the 2006 San Franciso St. Patrick's Day Parade, and headlined the premier Irish music venues in Northern California including Ireland's 32, the Abbey Tavern, the Dog's Bollix, the Blackthorn Tavern, and the Irish Cultural Center.
To Ian Paisley's utter dismay, the new album will be out this year, no doubt. Filled with classics like Go On Home British Soldiers, Back Home in Derry, Follow Me Up to Carlow, and Belfast Man, an original tribute to hunger striker Bobby Sands who died in 1981 after being elected to Parliament while in a British prison on Irish soil.
