      People don't play GAA just because its fun. Ask any player, most of them hate it, but then again they couldn't imagine their life without it. It's part of them, the love/hate relationship. It's the reason they get up off and go to the gym or down the pitch for a bit of extra training just to make sure they beat their marker to that one ball which may be the winning or losing of a match. It's what they live for. They live for the training, the pain, the joy, the heartbreak, the parties, long bus rides, invitationals, countless amount of gear & coaches u hate but appreciate. They live for the way it feels when you beat the team next to you by 1 pt. in extra-time, & you know those 2 extra sprints you ran in training were worth it. They live for the way you become a family with your team, the way it makes you feel to excell in a sport that is irish-none of that foreign shit! they live for the countless songs you sing in your head when your running all those suicide laps. They live for the competition, they live for the friends, the training, the memories and the chamionship medal. It's who they are. It's who I am!
