Nihlism are a three piece, influential grunge/hard rock group formed by frontman and guitarist Dane Smith and old bassist Andrew Wilson who met the ex drummer Zane Third in early 2004. We have recently started working on songs for the future. Nihlism hope to infuence other people with their music throughout the world and have a great time enjoying their favourite hobby. Their music is mainly influenced by Silverchair and Led Zep/ It involves slower tempos and dissonant harmonies with "dirty" guitar, strong bass, and heavy drumming that is pleasurable to almost every ear.

    Hey, I really like the ideas you guys have man, that shit'll take you a long way. Im interested in hearing you guys, you guys got any public gigs coming up???? I'm in a band myself in the early stages of making music but we 'mix' with people in the industry, meaning when we do get to the stage where we are playing gigs we got people backing us up. Its a really good thing to do bro, get all the support ith established people. A few of the people we have support from: Jake Adams (Steriogram) Billy Tk Junior Chris Tate (Ranke No.1 Sound engineer in NZ) The feelers. It really helps to get out there with established bands. Any way Im VERY interested in hearing you guys. So get back to me when you can.
