i have just been watching the 7’s and i could not belive the dedicatioin, heart, belief, grit and skill of a young Longstone team that triumphed in the final against an out-of-sorts st galls team. They had at least 130 supporters at the tournament from such a small townland of 250 people. they even had a large group of "ultras" which chanted and sang to their hearts content urging their local heroes on from first whistel to last. these young "ultras" as they call themselves cheered and some even cried because it meant that much to them, this shows me that how much this means to them. i cant belive that a close knit townland would be reunited over 100miles away in a true enjoyable festival of football. best of luck to them in the county final
