Me, Myself, and I
High Eight (Neil Briggs) started out in breaks as one half of the Future Funk Squad alongside Glen Nicholls, collaborating on early works such as Pulse, the first single on Default Records.

As a DJ, High Eight has played across the UK with the likes of Freddy Fresh, Future Funk Squad, and Stanton Warriors, as well as appearing at Breakspoll 2006 held at Fabric in London, and the Love Parade in San Francisco in 2005.

High Eight’s past and recent work has also appeared on many mix compilations. “Shakedown” appeared on the Future Soundscapes compilation put together by stateside DJ’s Draco & Exzact, while General Midi licensed “Pulse” for his “Genetically Modified” mix album. More recently Neil’s remix of Carbon Community’s “Mastermind” appeared on the Beatz & Bobz Vol 2 album, mixed by Will White of Propellerheads fame.

The latest High Eight single "Rock My World", his third for label Re:Connect Recordings, is out now and features a full vocal from Liz Melody.
