Sam has got the cutest smilest these days! He especially likes it when you flip him upside down! Maryka is getting really responsive. She gave me a great big smile and leaned forward to come to me when I held out my arms. She also has the greatest hair! It sticks straight up!

  • Howdy Y'all!

    Us Texans air doin faine dan heyah. :) I hope you enjoy our Christmas pictures. Luke was a blast this Christmas. He was really into it. Several weeks before Christmas when he was in a thoughtful moment, he turned to me and asked, "Mommy, does Santa leave candy everywhere?" I told him that I didn't know and we'd have to see... On the night before Christmas Eve - Saturday night - Luke told me that the one thing he really wanted from Santa was play-doh because ours had dried out a long time ago. Needless to say, Santa made a quick trip to the store and picked some up. :) Katie had fun with the new toys but wasn't terribly interested in opening the gifts. Good thing we had Luke around! I asked him today what his favorite part of Christmas had been. He said, "Opening all the presents with people that needed help like you and Daddy and Katie." We hope you all got the calendars in time for the New Year! And Congratulations to Jacob and Rachel!! We hope that the new year brings happiness and joy to all.

  • Pictures of Mr. Creeds Drafting Lab

    So, I just loaded some pictures of my classroom and some projects.
    I have a couple students in my head start program.
    It's a new test program.
    The objective is to instill technical knowledge while young when the mind is receptive. A good foundation in CAD should give them the advantage over the other kids when they begin kindergarten.
    For example if the teacher gives an assignment to do a finger painting of an intake manifold gasket, then they will be able to plan it out in CAD first, therefore allowing them to create designs far superior to the other kids.
    Well see how it goes.

    I'm glad they found your car, Rachel. Good luck finding a new one. Things are nice and toasty here in Houston. John's first day of school with students was yesterday. He had a good first day and now is back for day two. When is that leadership camp up there? - Amber :)
