Last night I played indoor cricket. We lost the toss and were sent into bat.
Our first pair made 29. I batted 2nd pair, and my batting partner hit a 7 first ball faced making 14 due to the jackpot ball (which doubles anything scored). Then the next ball he faced he hit 4 and then 7. we totalled 30 from the over.
But then in the next three overs we lost alot of wickets and ended up making 12 for the pair.. i reckon we made 60+ from the bat but lost 50+ in wickets.
Our third pair made 13, but our 4th pair made 31 to make a competetive 85 run total.

When the opponents came in their first pair made 18. and second pair 19. the 3rd pair made 8, leaving 41 for the last pair to win.

My bowling i had one over to the first pair which wasn't to good and a second over to the 2nd pair, which was better.. i floated the ball more and managed to get a few wickets through runouts and catches.

It got down to the opp needing 9 from the last over to win. And then after a wide which was rebowled the score was tied with 2 balls remaining.
The second last ball was hit off the side net straight to a fielder who picked up and through the stumps down at the bowlers end, leaving 6 needed to win. For the last ball all the fielders went back as far as possible, they scored a single from the ball so we won by 4 runs.

We are currently on top of the ladder undefeated. after 5 rounds.

Well I moved my computer into my bedroom since the last entry. Its better cause I don't have to use my headphones. In just over a week the housemate will be gone. So the rest of us will have to pay more rent for about 6 weeks.

Anyway, Studies are almost finished.. just got the project and two assignments to complete along with the presentation for the project next week. No more classes though.

I've been walking around the lake more recently, three days last week.

Since October 31 I've been working three hours a week in the SMB library assisting students with various problems with printing, the network or general help with the software packages on the system. Its been pretty nice so far.

Tonight I played Indoor Cricket. We were chasing 108. I batted in the second pair for a change. We had 36 for the first pair. I played several nice shots to score quite a few runs. It was probably the best i've batted. We made 43. Our third pair made 33, so we were already ahead before our last pair. They put on another 37 to finish on 149. A good start to the new season.

Last season we lost the semi final after losing the previous 3 rounds.

Right now i'm not to happy, mostly due to the house mates. One of whom decided to have band practice plus their cars were in my way when I came home after going down the street.

Anyway didn't play basketball this week because of a bye, had no study either due to the band meetings at church, last night I went over to a friends house to watch the Aussies beat the World XII again. The current rules with the 'super sub' are pretty stupid.

Tonight I'm going to a friends birthday party which should be ok. Tomorrow i'll watch some of Bathurst and the Cricket.. The Japanese F1 race is showing after Bathurst.. hopefully Channel 10 don't butcher it like they did last year.

Last year I recorded it and cut the ads, and it took just over an hour on the tape, even though the race lasted more than an hour.

What can I do about the state of mind that I keep getting into mostly due to the people I live with.

I've currently got Third Day playing through the headphones... but I can still hear the crap behind me.. I'm going to have to move my computer into my bedroom soon.

In recent days I've been working on a website for a client.
Each Tuesday and Thursday morning I've been walking with friends mostly around Lake Wendouree, these walks have been good. Those days I feel better for the most part.
