Temptation
It wraps around my head an surrounds the thoughts I think..
It waits an plots but can only blind me if i blink.
Inside of me it locks away my dreams and my fears.
For years its taken all i had..blood..sweat..an tears.
I can see it when facing my demons in mirrors.
When stripped of disguises i can see it more clearer.
Mute to words but of my hearts voice a promonent hearer.
Fact is only my addiction whose dearer is nearer.
And in this conviction if my addiction is the answer for sin...then my temptation can only be as deep as my skin.
