The above statement? my favourite saying so far here in Sweden. i say it alot. OK so the best thing that happened when leaving NZ? I GOT TO RIDE IN THE COCKPIT FORM CHCH TO AUCKLAND!!!!!! that was awesome! so left NZ at 11pm watched as many in flight movies as possible inbetween catching a few zzzz. Arrived in LA before we had even left NZ...re-living day...weird stuff. Universal studios the next day- pretty cool though the rides were pretty tame. the best one was the mummy. a rollre coaster in the dark and patrick sitting beside each and every time you went on (6 in total) screaming ''F**K F**K F**K f''K F**K'' at one point i had him scream potatoes so the results was ''POTATOES POTATOES POTATOES POTATOES'' the thing wasnt even scary after the first ride!!! poor patrick hehehehehe :p oh and my other favourite line on the trip also from patric when i was laughing on the mummy- ''STOP F**KING LAUGHING ITS NOT F**KING FUNNY!!!!'' oh the joys! Disneyland and claifornia adventure the next day. awesome stuff. riding the roller coaster again and again with maddie- she is one of the bigger thrill seekers i know. managed to hug a few random strangers that day along with some dodgy characters including a humping gooffy. another long flight followed and this with less space than air NZ and no individual tvs. grrrr. finally arrived in Frankfurt where i had to go straight through to my next flight- not before having to drink the tiny coke can i got on the plane, in customs pretty fast. delayed flight followed so got into sweden late and was met by two guys from my rotary club with a sign. went back to one of their houses and had coffee before coming to my host familys house to move in. Host family is so nice!!! went to bed pretty early and slept for 12 hours straight. Woke up to my first full day in Sweden (today) went to the open day that was at my school and had a look around- ITS HUGE!!!! has something like 2000 pupils - heaps compared to the 550 im used to! went and had a look at the local mall with my host family and had lunch in town. lost count of how many times ive said Jag förstår inte so far. Going to a language camp on the 27th so that will help ALOT! Everything is so weird here...and they drive onthe wrong side of the road which resulted in going round the round about the wrong way for the first time....which i might add is actually scary stuff. Needless to say im actually glad we cant drive on Rotary!!! Went to the Supermarkets before- must have looked like a retard staring at all the random food products. Just like all of us did in America at the supermarket accross form the hotel.Sweden is actually not that cold was 5 degrees today- not as bad as i thought i would be. however i did still have to think about not freezing my butt off when we stepped outside!!!
