I was so happy

I could have melted on the spot
And it didn't stop there
You told me you loved me
If I was happy before it was nothing compared to how I felt there
I could have burst I was that happy babe
Then one day we were stood in my kitchen
I clicked on about something
I gave you a hug and said
"I've just realised I haven't even asked you out yet"
I can't remember how i asked you to go out with me but i did
And you said YES
My life couldn't get any better
You changed my world and made it so much better
I now had something to look forward to on a weekend when I didn't have to work
Nearly every weekend I saw you and I could not be happier
Then came the time to meet the your parents
They were dead nice I felt a little git put down when your mum asked me if I smoked
I wasn't going to lie so I said yeah and she said oh dear
You WERE up here but down you're down here
I was like :S ok sorry for being honest
I wasn't going to say that to her face though
So I kept it to myself lol
I didn't dare eat the meal your mum cooked
I didn't want to look like a pig or anything lol
That's why I was so relieved when the doorbell rang
Your mum and dad got up to see who it was
I ate as much as I could in the time your mum and dad were away
Days went by and I could help but love you more and more
But something happened
We started arguing and rowing nearly everynight
It was so painful to argue with you but we made up everytime the day after
But still we argued and argued then one day we were over
My whole world tore apart
I couldn't believe what I had done
We rarely talked after that
I couldn't stand it not one bit
And then you started going out with another lad
My heart was broken but still I loved you with every little piece of it
I couldn't help how I felt
I still loved you and wanted you back so much
I tried flirting with other lasses to take you off my mind
But only because I thought you were happy with you new boyfriend
But it didn't work, I could not stop thinking about you
No matter what I did or who I saw
You were ALWAYS on my mind
I was so jealous of him because he had what I had, what I missed
And wanted back so dearly
Then came that day you broke up with him
I saw a chance to tell you how much I missed you
To my surprise you said you missed me too
I told you that I was still in love with you
And you told me you felt the same
My heart started mending
The pieces started falling back in place
We started flirting and saying how much we loved each other more and more
You came round my house and you gave me a hug
I was back in heaven
I didn't want you to leave but you had to obviously
You came round more and I asked you if you wanted to give it another go
You said yeah and we started going back out
Nobody knew about it at first but i didn't really care
After all, I had the one thing I loved so much back in my life
Then you told me that you wanted people to know
I was well chuffe
