If I were a dog and you were a flower I'd lift up my leg and give you a shower (lol)

About Me

Me, Myself, and I
Well I'm still unemployed and a full time mum - love being a mum, but would like a bit of "ME" time every now and then. I'm Married to Dennis and have two beautiful babie girls and two beautiful step daughters. Love animals (even my husband - lol), sport and having fun. Would love to travel, but will have to wait until the girls are older.

  • We are all sick

Well I haven't been on here for a while, we have all been sick with the flu, I've got a sinus infection, Dennis is sick and Jessica has a cough and a fever, the only one not sick is Little Libby. We are planning a trip to New Zealand and Perth at the end of the year (well beginning of 2008) to visit family and so Dennis can chase some sheep in New Zealand (lol). It's Dennis's birthday on Wednesday (and Trisha's on Tuesday) and I have no idea what to get them. I STILL haven't started my loose weight kick, but Libby took 110mls of a bottle last night YAY - so I can leave her with Dennis or mum and go to the gym, and now that I'm a bit more organised I can book them into the childcare centre at the gym for an hour while I pump Iron. Well thats about it for now, I'll have to write more later.

  • Babies

Well what have you all been up to? I haven't been up to much, but I can say that Dennis and I are seriously thinking about having a return holiday to Tresillian. Elizabeth still wont take a bottle - she'll only take it after she's got a full tummy and then she just plays with it. Jessica is working herself up that much when she goes to bed that she is vomiting - it's beginning to stress us out. I'm thinking Dennis and I need a holiday, anyone want to look after our babies for a week while Dennis and I just sleep for a week? Come on any takers? I called the Tresillian Hot line and asked for some advice, I'll do what they suggested and see if that makes a change, but if not, were off to Tresillian again - woo hoo! I love my little angels so - but I'd love to have a good nights sleep too. :D

  • Horror Movie Survival Guide...

    1. When it appears that you have killed the monster, NEVER check to see if it's really dead.

    2. If you find that your house was built upon or near a cemetery, was once a church that was used for black masses, had previous inhabitants who went mad or committed suicide or died in some horrible fashion, or had inhabitants who performed necrophilia or satanic practices in your house - move away immediately.

    3. Never read a book of demon summoning aloud, even as a joke.

    4. Do not search the basement, especially if the power has just gone out.

    5. If your children speak to you in Latin or any other language which they do not know, or if they speak to you using a voice which is other than their own, shoot them immediately. It will save you a lot of grief in the long run. Note: It will probably take several rounds to kill them, so be prepared.

    6. When you have the benefit of numbers, *never* pair off or go it alone.

    7. As a general rule, don't solve puzzles that open portals to Hell.

    8. Never stand in, above, below, on, beside, or anywhere near a grave, tomb, crypt, mausoleum, or other house of the dead.

    9. If you're searching for something which caused a noise and find out that it's just the cat, leave the room immediately if you value your life.

    10. If appliances start operating by themselves, move out.

    11. Do not take *anything* from the dead.

    12. If you find a town which looks deserted, it's probably for a reason. Take the hint and stay away.

    13. Don't fool with recombinant DNA technology unless you're sure you know what you're doing.

    14. If you're running from the monster, expect to trip or fall down at least twice - more if you're of the female persuasion. Also note that, despite the fact that you are running and the monster is merely shambling along, it's still moving fast enough to catch up with you.

    15. If your companions begin to exhibit uncharacteristic behaviour such as hissing, fascination for blood, glowing eyes, increasing hairiness and so on, get away from them as fast as possible.

    16. Stay away from certain geographical locations, some of which are listed here: Amityville, Elm Street, Transylvania, Nilbog (God help you if you recognize this one), the Bermuda Triangle, or any small town in Maine.

    16. If your car runs out of gas at night, do not go to the nearby deserted-looking house to phone for help.

Hey Karen! Thanks for the message! Yes, yes, all is well over here... and believe me, its hard NOT to run into an Aussie. As for the Poms, they are no threat - we are keepin' them in line ;) There is a great slogan over here for a recruitment company for Aussies and it says: "You sent us away as convicts, and now we're back, as professionals." Haha... love it! I've been checkin out the family photos, and can I just say your girls are so gorgeous! They obviously love the camera like their Dad ;) Jesse is growing up so quick, and can't wait to meet little Libby! I'll be back before the end of the year, so I'm sure it won't be long before I'm out visiting Camden... lots of babies to meet and stories to catch up on! Shame you won't be holidaying anytime soon... I'm a very good babysitter!! ;) xx
