I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair. I hate it when you stare. I hate your big dumb combat boots, and the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick; it even makes me rhyme. I hate it, I hate the way youre always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry. I hate it that youre not around, and the fact that you didnt call. But mostly I hate the way I dont hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all. X

I went to a party,
And remembered what you said.
you told me not to drink, Mum
So I had a Sprite instead.
I felt proud of myself,
the way you said I would,
That I didn't drink and drive,
though some friends said I should.
I made a healthy choice,
and your advice to me was right

and the kids drove out of sight.
I got into my car,
sure to get home in one piece,

while he was flying high,
because he chose to drink and drive,
now I would have to die.
So why do people do it, Mum
Knowing that it ruins lives?
And now the pain is cutting me,
like a hundred stabbing knives.
Tell sister not to be afraid, Mum
tell daddy to be brave,
and when I go to heaven,
put "Daddy's Girl" on my grave.
Someone should have taught him,
that it's wrong to drink and drive.
Maybe if his parents had,
I'd still be alive.
